Rainforest River Retreat Kangaroo Valley

The house was stunning. The rooms were lovely, the lounge room and dining area were great for a group of people. Loved the fireplace. The location was also beautiful, and we saw a wombat!

There was NO coffee. The bio said there was a pod machine, which makes you assume there's coffee...not even instant coffee. The closest coffee shop is in town, 20-25 mins away. The kitchen generally needs a check over to make sure the basics are there. The place had been cleaned before we arrived, however the floors were so wet after they had been mopped. We had to dry them. Also the holding deposit takes about a month to get back. It wouldn't accept my credit card so I'm out of pocket that $1000 until they release their hold.

The location was perfect. The sound from the river was so relaxing and the view from the verandah was picturesque.

The river, the house was just perfect, the large sliding doors made for a beautiful vista from any seat in the lounge, dinning & kitchen.
