TIBERIAS by luxury Atitlan

Flat muito grande, equipado e com decoração muito bonita. Janelão amplo com uma vista espetacular do lago, e uma varanda com gramado privativa. Está equipado com ar-condicionado. Há vários flats anunciados, mas pertencem a um só local (Luxury). A entrada fica a uns 5 minutos a pé da doca (muelle) onde param as lanchas, pode-se ir caminhando ou de tuktuk - o valor vai depender da negociação. Não há subidas adicionais, para além do próprio acesso à doca. Ao redor da doca também estão os bares e a vida noturna, então a localização é bem central. Pode haver ruído vindo da praia, mas não se escutam os bares. Água quente funcionou bem, e a internet também.

A janela é espelhada, mas pode-se ver para dentro à noite, com luz acesa, e a cortina não tampa 100%, mas quase tudo. Como todo lugar no Atitlán, cobra-se 10% sobre o valor em cartão de crédito. Gosto pessoal, não gosto de chuveiro com cortina e com banheira, porque acho perigoso, mas o banheiro é lindo.

The location is excellent, and the lake views are spectacular. The bed is very comfortable, the interior design is tasteful, and the wi-fi is fast and reliable.

Although the property is marketed as "luxury", I wouldn't really describe it that way. The bed base seemed to be falling apart, and the shower curtain was heavily mouldy. While the overall design is attractive, with large windows overlooking the lake and the mountains, the single curtain is not sufficient to cover both the windows and the glass door. As a result, part of the apartment is visible from outside when the lights are on at night. The glass door leading to the terrace has gaps at the top and bottom, allowing mosquitoes and flies to get into the room even when the door is closed. They become quite annoying at night.The shower design is also rather impractical. The pool is more suited to relaxing than swimming, as it is very small and quite shallow.
