Cosy great views

Hi. The Lantern 23 Balcony unit was superb and beyond expectation and the team at Belle fantastic, we didn’t want to leave. The family loved the Thredbo Village Summer Experience, the walks, rides, swims, great meals at Candlelight Restaurant, an Alfresco Spaghetti Bolognaise on our balcony overlooking a beautiful village one evening and the wonderful apartment we finally had to say goodbye to. So good.

Nothing, it was really good!

The location and quick arrival of the Thredbo buses to take you to the snow.

Parking onsite is not allocated for this apartment.

I’ve stayed at Lantern Apartments in Thredbo many times over the years and always had a great experience, but my most recent stay was incredibly disappointing. Check-in was an absolute mess. The staff member we dealt with was shockingly rude and openly told us she didn’t care because she was leaving in a week. It was the kind of attitude you never expect from a place I’ve always trusted. To his credit, the manager went to a lot of trouble to try and make us feel comfortable after the poor welcome, and I genuinely appreciate the effort. Unfortunately, even with his help, the stay just didn’t live up to the standard Lantern Apartments has set in the past. I really hope they address the customer service issues, because it used to be a fantastic place to stay in Thredbo.
