Nice place, but construction works not disclosed

The apartment is nice, comfortable, and very well located, just as shown in the photos. It’s spacious and generally pleasant to stay in.

There were several issues that affected our experience. We were not informed about ongoing construction work in the building until one day before our arrival, which meant that the terrace (one of the nicest features of the apartment) was not accessible. There were workers right outside from 8 a.m., making noise and covering the windows of the main room and kitchen, which reduced natural light and privacy. By the time we learned about the works, the apartment had already been paid for and when I got back to the host, once we received the information, I unfortunately did not receive a reply from their side. In addition, the curtains in the living room, needed in this case to allow more privacy when workers were outside, were broken; the shower had a small leak, and one of the power plugs in the living room couldn’t be used because something was blocking it inside.

Good intention but poor service.

The location and view.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent stay. While I want to acknowledge that the owner showed good intentions and did try to help by ordering some items we requested, the overall experience was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable because of the conduct of the housekeeper, Celine, and the poor quality of basic services provided. From the moment we arrived, Celine was unwelcoming and dismissive simply because we wanted to confirm the location of the apartment. This immediately set a negative tone and made us feel unwelcome. Once inside, we found that many basic necessities were missing. While the owner later arranged for some of these items, others were either delayed or never provided. For example, towels were so small they could not properly fit an adult, and when replacements were finally given, it was far too late to be useful. Whenever we raised these issues—reasonable requests for basic necessities—we were spoken to in a rude and disrespectful way. At one point, we were even told to find alternative accommodation, which is unacceptable considering we had booked for three full weeks. The problems continued during the stay. The furniture was poorly arranged, restricting movement around the apartment, so we carefully repositioned some pieces to make the space livable, keeping everything clean and undamaged. Despite this, the cleaning staff complained to the owner, who then spoke to us disrespectfully instead of addressing the actual issues. A major concern was cleanliness. We specifically informed the owner that we have allergies, and for this reason requested that the vacuum be emptied and cleaned regularly, and that fur and dust be removed. However, these requests were refused and ignored by the cleaning staff. The so-called “3-times-per-week” cleaning service was not properly done at all—the apartment remained dusty, and the cleaners seemed untrained.

Communication really lacked, we didn’t hear from the staff and had to call afew times when we arrived, no info was given to us before hand about checking in, as it’s not a hotel there is no reception and you have to get a code to be let into the building! While the facilities were great we struggled to find things, there were no instructions or labels in the kitchen and there was only minimal cooking utensils and equipment, said there was a washing machine but no where to be found and no instructions if there was one in the building, we did look and scan QR code in guest manual but it didn’t work. We really loved our stay but little things that were a bit annoying overall!

Very good

Very clean, cozy apartment with stunning views over the valley. Central location: only 5 to 10 minute walk to either Crans or Montana centers.

Shower head placement and small shower door, as others have mentioned - requires care not to flood the bathroom floor while rinsing off. Entry instructions were never provided to me, instead I had to call when I arrived.

Ein schöner Ort, um die Gegend zu erkunden.

Sehr gut ausgerüstete Küche, zweckmässig und komfortabel eingerichtet. Sehr schöner Balkon mit toller Aussicht.

Das Bett war ungemütlich, durchhängende Federn, billige Matratze. Wir sind aufs Bettsofa ausgewichen, was gut war.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und gepflegt. Die Aussicht vom Balkon ist sehr schön und man fühlt sich in den Bergen angekommen. Wirklich ein schönes Panorama. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich. Qualität Top…

Die Heizung ging nicht richtig . Wir sind zwar nicht erfroren aber selbst auf Stufe 5 war die Heizung lauwarm.
