• Excellent sleep quality: The bed was very comfortable, and despite the central location, we didn't hear any street noise at all. • Privacy: The outside roller shutters were a great addition for privacy. • Perfect base for exploring: The location is ideal for day trips—it’s only a 1-hour drive to Lille and 1.5 hours to Bruges. • Convenience: Very close to local shops, which made picking up essentials easy.

• General Cleanliness: The overall level of cleanliness was poor. The bedding did not smell freshly washed, and the pillows actually smelled as though someone had used them right before we arrived. • Kitchen & Lighting: When we opened the dishwasher, it emitted a strong smell of rotten food. Additionally, the cables for the lights over the bed had a significant accumulation of dust and fluff. • Bathroom Issues: We found used shower gel and soap packaging left on the bathtub and old soap sitting on top of the rainfall shower head, which by the way is cracked and leaking from the top. • Plumbing Maintenance: Both the upstairs bathroom sink and the shower cubicle were badly clogged. The shower actually flooded, and in both cases, we had to manually remove the pop-up/drain plugs just to get the water to drain properly. • Security: Entrance door lock very flimsy and did not feel secure despite having additional latch from inside. Just to add that the cleaning lady arrived on the second day of our stay, saying that we should have left the day before. I guess misunderstanding with the owners. Also owners communicated that we should be clear of the premises by 09:30. Our booking information indicted time frame between 09:30 - 10:30.
