Villa Babeth by Nuits au Port

Overall the villa met our needs. Laurent facilitated an early check in which we appreciated as we landed very early. He gave us lots of info on arrival (maybe a little too fast as we struggled to work the TV after he left). The villa is spacious and is very well equipped with all we needed including good WiFi and game consoles. Perfect for families! Host was available to meet us on site which was lovely. Also, we accidentently came home with key to villa in our bag and the host was understanding, allowing us to post it back.

Host complained to us that we hadn't cleaned the BBQ after using it however we had (and in fact needed to clean it before using it as it was very greasy). We were unaware too that we needed to take the trash out (maybe missed this instruction as we were exhausted from the early flight) and felt bad that the host texted us to let us know after we left. The outside terrace is lovely but could benefit from a sweep and pull the weeds up.

Laurent was exceptionally thoughtful and helpful. He really did go above and beyond. For three of us we had lots of room and enjoyed staying here and sheltering from the heatwave. Perfect spot by the marina with a beach nearby and fun restaurant recommended by Laurent, Chez Mémé et Pépé two minutes’ walk from the house. It’s an easy cycle into the town along cycle paths. Our bikes were securely stored.
