Maslina Resort

My stay at Maslina Resort in Hvar was nothing short of extraordinary—a true treat for the mind, soul, and senses. As someone who travels frequently, I am accustomed to high standards, but rarely have I encountered the level of kindness and professionalism exhibited by the staff at Maslina. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a genuine desire to make my stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. The attention to detail throughout the resort is truly awe-inspiring. Every corner of Maslina reflects a thoughtful blend of local culture and refined elegance. The use of local ingredients in the cuisine, the carefully curated interior pieces, and the serene ambiance of the surroundings all contribute to an experience that is both luxurious and authentic. Maslina Resort stands out as one of the very rare gems in the Adriatic that embodies quiet luxury. This is not just a place to stay; it’s a destination for those who are searching for meaning through experiences that broaden their horizons and open their minds. The attention to detail, amazing customized services, and the use of top-quality, solid, and raw materials completely transform the feel of the place, making every moment here feel special and unique. I left with a desire to already book my next visit.

The staff could not do enough for you, we had 10nights which allowed time to completely unwind. Stari~Grad the closest tow is gorgeous also. The Maslina pool is a great place to chill as are one of the private lounges on the beach.

Electric bikes, not enough

Rather small pools and limited number of sun beds near sea. Breakfast with rather limited variety of choice for 5* hotel.

We had an unforgettable experience at the Maslina Resort in Stari Grad Hvar! However, what truly made our stay exceptional was Batu, the resort's exceptional host. Batu went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and happiness throughout the entire stay. His attention to detail and personalized service truly made us feel like valued guests. From arranging excursions to recommending the best local spots, Batu's recommendations made our vacation truly special. We thoroughly enjoyed the variety of amenities offered, including the beautiful infinity pool with breathtaking views, the relaxing spa, and the delicious dining options that left us craving for more. The location of Maslina Resort is also a standout feature. Nestled amidst lush greenery and overlooking the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea, the serene ambiance allowed us to unwind and connect with nature. Overall, our stay at Maslina Resort was a truly memorable and rejuvenating experience. Relaxed atmosphere - staff very attentive - fantastic location

Nothing really

Breakfast was nice and enjoyable. We liked the location.

We waited an hour and half past check in time for our room. Lunch (burger) was not good twice. Very disappointed in food beyond breakfast. Manager was not pleasant. Drivers to town, great. Luggage guys, great. New manager told us we could not check out a half hour later after we we didn’t get our room for an hour and a half at check in. Spa facial was not good.

Staff too slow but very friendly

We went to celebrate my birthday We didn't think the website did this resort justice and we nearly didn't book it. When we arrived we were taken back. The whole place was well placed and stunning. The owners design and needs for their guests was well thought out, I guess years of experience goes to show what can be achieved. The staff were very hospitable, polite and tendered to our needs. Special thanks to Mattia and Nina on Front desk and Andrea at the spa for great mixed Yoga. Thanks Misha for nice creative cocktails. The facilities and surroundings were on point. The sunset amazing from the room. However we will definitely be back. Thank you Maslina

On the negative side some of the other guests lack of respect for others in this wonderful place is to be questioned and perhaps the hotel should consider this. It wasn't the fact that kids were there, which was fine, as we have children. Bringing young in the pool during the day perhaps there should be certain times. But the worst was a couple brought their kids dinner in a romantic setting outside by the pool and letting them crying their head off.at 9:30 / 10:00pm at night. Not like some of the other parents who had clearly arranged babysitters to hopefully enjoy the evening dinner and ambiance

BATU, manager he was the most helpful person I’ve met in my life

If 6 stars existed, Maslina deserves them. Exceptional service from the staff, you feel extremely cared for by everyone. The hotel and its facilities are of incredible quality and the design is flawless, down to every little detail. Unbelievable place. Batu, the Guest Relations Manager was always on hand to help, from the tour he gave when I arrived, and throughout my stay. Thank you all!

Nothing. It was beyond perfect.

Design and the room was great with spacious terrace and view to the sea. Food in the main restaurant was good quality too. free minibar too ,once per stay. breakfast options and service excellent.

housekeeping was a let down. not replenishing the coffee and leaving their cleaning products behind. also bar staff did not follow instructions for a shaken martini. Steam room in the spa looked cheap with rust marks on the wall and plastic seating area.

The cost for booking a Maslina resort car is 100% more expensive than a taxi

We decided to treat ourselves and stay at Maslina for 2 nights of our Croatian vacation and we certainly did not regret it! Everything was exceptional, the staff was wonderful and their service was phenomenal, additionally the pool area was something out of this world. We stayed there 1 week before the closed the resort so it was very quiet and relaxing which was just what we needed. They even had resort cats, do I need to say more? 🐈 🐱 They offer a free shuttle to Stari Grad (nearby, small super cute town) which is super handy, or you can rent their bikes for free which are very astatic tree bikes.

Absolutely fabulous concept. Great design, wonderful staff, delicious food, and the pool area is pure bliss. Loved the sea side too and the nearby town is beautiful. The family room was spacious with great views. Undoubtedly the best hotel in Croatia.

The quality of the room and the resort overall were great. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and took a nice walk around teh area. We also found the staff to be very professional and friendly.

Unfortunately the biggest issue with the Maslina is the quality of their kitchen. We would never return to this resort due to the quality of the food from the restaurant being absolutely awful. For breakfast, scrambled eggs were overcoked and burnt. Poached eggs were half cooked and filled your plate with undercooked egg water. Sausages were dry. If you order the avocado + toast, the toast is absolutely tiny (think 3 mouthfuls total) and two of three days the bread was completely stale and hard. Dinner was of a similar quality. When you are paying $50+ per dish, you would expect the food to be of at least a half-decent standard however at the Maslina it was hardly edible.

Nothing major but could improve on the edges: stream phone to tv, replace mini bar daily, food good but not spectacular or lots of variety. Also thought spa was overpriced.

The breakfast was really great and fruit plate was legitimately good (not just melon!) The location is great but a little far - they offer free shuttle to stari grad or you can walk which take about 20 min. They are stumbling distance from the beach, have a great view of the water and generally very peaceful place. The site blends with the area and the decor was very calming. Also did the complimentary yoga class which is a nice feature they have 1 free class a day - yoga meditation, etc. the gym and spa is really nice too.

Everything is upcharged - so you are paying for the convenience but the cabs, boat rides, etc are all at least 20% more- you can book stuff on your own but if you want the convenience just expect to overpay. The toilet is separate from the bathroom and that layout was a little odd but not terrible.
