Nice location in the wadi. Free kayaks. Big and clean room. Meals served on the terrace with a view.

Room was clean and nicely decorated. Nonetheless the service employees were incredibly friendly and attentive. Kind people. The location was close to hiking possibilities.

First I thought that it is the location what you pay for, but even here we experienced loud generator noises and excavators passing by. Food was bland and dry. No fresh tea and nor coffe was provided. Only instant coffe and teabags. Dry and probably a bit old supermarket bread was served. The french fries as a part of the dinner buffet finished me off. And no, don't expect that somebody will make the effort for a bonfire as advertised. The owner I have seen only once or twice very briefly and asked about hiking possibilities nearby. I felt that I disturbed him with my questions. Unfortunately, the poorest experience we had in Oman which stands in such high contrast to everything else we have experienced.
