A wonderful and authentic place to stay in Hammam Sousse. The atmosphere is warm, the house is full of character, and the hospitality is exceptional. Toutou and Sebastian took good care of me and made me feel at home. I tried the shared room and it was confortable

As I had read in previous reviews, the hospitality from Majdi (Toutou) was fantastic. He contacted me after booking to help me make arrangements and gave advice about how to arrive.
He made a great effort to get to know us all and help us integrate with each other, and gave advice about trips.
Breakfast was delicious, especially with his mum's harissa.
The location was great to get to Sousse and beyond with taxi or louage.
There was also access to use the kitchen, and a laundry service which was very efficient.

Toutou is a fantastic host!
The place is clean, welcoming and great to meet other travelers. Toutou goes above and beyond, he gives detailed information about places to visit, WhatsApps you Google maps location and gives excellent recommendations. I loved his free tour around his town, Hammam Sousse.
The place is far from the center of Sousse but easy to reach by taxi or louage (plus a 15 mins walk) By the end of the stay I didn’t mind the distance and enjoyed the local vibe.

Enjoyed our stay at Dar Hkaiem, it was very pretty and had some nice touches such as his mums Harissa! Tutu was a great host, very chatty and willing to help with whatever we wanted to do. We stayed here at the start and end of our trip and we were provided with airport transfers to Enfidah airport which were reliable. If you wanted to use Sousse as a base to explore Tunisia this would be an ideal place as tutu would assist with organising whatever you wanted.
