Clean, spacious and had everything we needed. Location is excellent.

There are a lot of stairs to access the property.

The flat is amazing. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is mind blowing. What a joy to wake up every morning with the view on the Harbour. And my boys could crab in front of the house! Amazing!

The property itself is a gem — but the management company nearly ruined our stay. We had a minor issue with the door lock. Simple enough to fix, you’d think. But getting support from Sykes Cottages turned into an ordeal. When I missed a callback by literally two minutes (I was returning from the shop, hands full with two young boys), i called back immediately. Their staff member, furious, refused to offer any further help. Not because the issue wasn’t real. Because I hadn’t picked up fast enough. And she even hangup the call very angry! Despite I was calm and composed the full time, just asking for help. They followed up two days later. The day before we left. So for the bulk of our stay, we had no working lock. We left valuables in the car. We didn’t want to spend our last day stuck at home waiting for a team that had already made clear they weren’t coming before the 3rd day. The flat is genuinely lovely. But Sykes’ customer service is slow to answer, quick to anger, and utterly unhelpful when it matters. It can — and did — cast a shadow over an otherwise beautiful stay.

The location is amazing and the views were stunning. The apartment had everything you needed and was such a good space for our family Christmas. So nice to be local to Dartmouth to experience the full Christmas atmosphere of the town.

Some of the bed sheets needed replacing as were ripped. The apartment was very dusty when we arrived like no one had checked prior to our arrival. Toilet paper was very thin. The kitchens extractor fan was very dirty. Whilst making Christmas dinner I had was may have been oil dripping from the extractor. Very unpleasant. We had hand wash bottle in the bathroom that was empty. There was also air fresheners in the bathrooms that were empty. If supplying these products at least make sure they have something in it.
