Villa Mala Dora

The Villa was overall a very good spot, peaceful and beautiful.

The separeted room ("master bedroom"), as described, is outside of the main house and smells very strongly of mold, it was very hard to sleep there even with the window open. The main bathroom shower is leaking and it floods the floor, and both shower holders were broken/loose. There were 2 gas stoves but no lighter or match sticks, so we couldnt use it. ALSO, BE CAREFUL because this house is only acessible by boat, so if you want to get to know the island, you will have to pay the taxi boat many times (this was our fault because we didnt read the description carefully).

The location was absolutely amazing. Incredibly beautiful. The host was very nice and did her best to make us feel welcome and show us around. If you have a boat it's got really good access to other beautiful spots around the island but you definitely need to take a boat. The house has great potential and is very relaxing as its not in the hussle and bussle of town but it has not really been finished and we were there with 6 people expecting to have 6 good beds but that was not really the case.. I would recommend for 2 maybe 3 people. But 6 is too much. The local water taxi was good and costs 20€ in and out of town. Upgrade living on solar was fine. We were able to run the aircons to cool us down at night which was appreciated

The second part of the house with two beds was full of mildew and smells off. The kitchen facilities we're not really adequate and as you are remote living you really need to be at a cook but the facilities we're not able to be used very well even the outdoor gas burner was broken so it leaked gas. There were not enough cooking utensils for a proper cook up. They would have done well if they provided mosquito repellent etc. Maybe some snorkelling gear or fishing rods would be good if you took it but it would be even better if they provided it. I would love to go back if they fixed these issues.

The location is totally amazing . Private retreat, with easy access to town by water taxi . Can’t wait to go back

If you prefer getaway from loud city streets it is perfect spot. Almost private beach, BBQ area and nice views are all you get. Hosts are 24/7 attentive and can help you with anything

it is bit offhand that you need to drive off road for 20 mins to get to the main road. Would be much easier if there is a small boat for guests to use. Could be nicer decorated for that price.
