Rustic red

We had a lovely stay. It is definitely bigger than the pictures. The facilities were so clean, everything was super neat and it was so convenient. It had everything you need and more. The host was so friendly we absolutely loved the place and will be visiting again. Nothing to dislike🤍

We were surprised that the owners wanted a R 500 cash deposit in case of breakages on check-in, we have not had this request in previous reservations on booking.com. There was a check-list of items contained in the accommodation listing everything from broom, fruit bowl with ornaments, crockery, cutlery etc. Some cupboard had chains with padlocks around their handles. A rules list was quite comprehensive. We felt unsettled and were not able to get comfortable and relax. Sleep was not easy with well worn polycotton bedding and one of the single bed mattresses felt collapsed with springs pushing through. One windowless bathroom is accessible by walking through the main bedroom. The bath towels were surprisingly small. In general it felt like the leftovers of households had been collected there and little details like a pleasant cup of instant coffee eluded us with sachets of Ricoffy (chicory/coffee mix) which is not pleasant.
