Location is perfect and the hosts are very friendly and helpful

To begin with, Komiza is beautiful, and not yet too touristy. It feels like a hidden gem in the Adriatic, with little art shops instead of stalls selling Chinese plastic. The town is small and the house is in the centre, so convenient for everything, 5 minutes walk from the Gusarica beach and 5 min from the Riva. We had the top floor apartment which is great. It has a massive terrace where we ate all our meals and napped in the afternoon - great view, shade or sun, table, a daybed. The kitchen is basic but works. The two bedrooms and the bathroom are great, we appreciated the washing machine. AC in two rooms and the kitchen, but we didn't need it as we could get a good draft going at night which would cool down the whole apartment nicely. From the environmental point of view it felt good to not have to use the AC and still be able to be cool. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, letting us into the property early and coming to our rescue asap when we got locked out. If we go to Komiza again I would definitely try to stay in the same property again.

We had an amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better apartment. It was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and it had everything we needed for our two-week stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was especially appreciated during the warm weather, and the location was absolutely ideal. Communication with the host was flawless from start to finish. One of the highlights of our stay was definitely all the lovely cats that came by to say hello and enjoy some cuddles – they made our holiday even more special!

Honestly, there was nothing negative about our experience. If we had to mention one small thing, it would be that having access to a washing machine would have been helpful during a two-week stay, especially for washing beach towels.
