Luxury apartment with magnificent views

Perfectly located property with an absolutely fabulous, large balcony. The views were just breathtaking. The apartment was clean, well stocked with essentials, parking was a breeze. It was perfectly positioned close to the beach, restaurants, coffee shop, malls etc. it serviced our needed perfectly and Julia was lovely to deal with from beginning to end. We will definitely consider staying here again.

Communication and Service: The communication with Julia was excellent, and she was very flexible with the check-in process, which we greatly appreciated. Julia was always available for any reasonable requests. For instance, when it was very cold at night, I asked for a heater, and she promptly brought one the next morning. Apartment and Amenities: The apartment offered stunning views of both the ocean and the Nerang River. The building itself has a nice style and theme, with branded fonts used for all labels and numbers. There are also great amenities, including one indoor warm-water pool and two outdoor pools. Location: The location is excellent, situated in the Surfers Paradise area. We wanted to extend our stay as we loved the atmosphere of the Gold Coast but couldn't agree on a reasonable rate with Julia as it was the weekend.

Strange Rules & Policies: - You can’t be on the terrace (which is the key highlight of the apartment) after 9 PM and must move inside the apartment and close the doors. While I understand the building’s policy to keep noise down, it was disappointing not to be able to enjoy a glass of wine on the terrace with my wife after we put our kids to sleep. To be honest, we didn’t pay all this money and travel to the Gold Coast to spend the night inside. - If someone visits you in the apartment without prior approval from Julia, you will be charged $100 per guest. - One of the check-out requirements is that all garbage needs to be removed, and dishes cleaned, dried, and put away. - There is a camera on the door to monitor people coming in and out (see the photo of House Rules). It's challenging to feel at home when you're constantly being monitored. - I received a number of communications filled with instructions on do's and don'ts. I came here to relax and enjoy my time, not to spend it reading and adhering to lengthy messages. Issues: There were several issues with the apartment: - Several roll-up blinds in the living room were broken. - There are only two AC units in the apartment, both located in the en-suites, and only one has a heater. - When we checked in, the light in one of the en-suites was broken. However, I informed Julia, and she fixed it the next day. - The window in the same en-suite was leaking cold air (the outside temperature was about 10 degrees Celsius at night). Julia mentioned that it would take time to get it fixed by the building management. She tried to fix it temporarily by placing a towel in the leakage area, but this didn’t help much, and the bathroom remained very cold at night. - Although there's a nice view of the ocean from two of the bedrooms, the unclean window glass (see photo) ruins the view. Security Deposit: You have to pay a $550 security deposit in advance.
