About this cabin rental
From the moment you swing the door open you will be awe-struck by the long-range mountain views at Ridgetop Pointaview! The giant wall windows give you the opportunity to gaze out over the steep tops of the Appalachian Mountains AND Lake Blue Ridge at the same time! Kick back and slow down on the reclining plush furniture in the living area while enjoying a crackling fire. As expected, this cabin also comes with a fully equipped kitchen for all your cooking and entertaining needs. The first bedroom of the cabin is a queen bedroom with access to the shared full bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a 43" Roku TV w/ streaming options. The entry level deck has a gas grill with a prepping station, outside dining table for 4, and plentiful seating for the whole group to sit together and soak up the view! If you're traveling with your favorite pet, you'll be pleased to know that this cabin IS pet-friendly!
The upper level is where you will find the King Master Suite with a private master bathroom w/ walk-in shower. If you'd like to wind down before bed with your favorite show, you'll have the opportunity in the master as it has its own 43" Roku TV w/ streaming options. If that isn't enough, bring in the day with a hot cup of coffee on your very own private balcony! The upper level also has a workspace area suitable for use as a remote office, complete with desk, high-speed fiber internet, printer, and office supplies; perfect for an extended vacation mixed with some remote working.
Family game time is a must in the lower level den area. Enjoy a game of foosball with the kids or watch the big game on the 43" YouTube LIVE TV. With ample plush furniture, this is another cozy place to spend an evening with family and friends. For your convenience, there is a washer and dryer for your use on the lower level of this cabin. The final sleeping arrangement is found on this level with a double bunk bedroom, one being a single over a double and one being a single over single.
The lower level patio has a hot tub, wicker furniture, a hammock tucked away amongst the trees and a firepit perfect for relaxation, conversation, s'mores or just listening to the cicadas.

Ultimately the house was great: views, cleanliness, etc. but one thing that made the stay difficult is the drive way. It is very steep and gravel. We could not take our car up the driveway. Literally would need a truck with four wheel drive. Also, make sure to bring trash bags, cleaning supplies.

Stay was great. We were close enough to Blue Ridge but far enough we felt we were all alone. Highly recommend for a couple get away or a family trip as well.

The view is truly amazing! It was so relaxing to sit on the porch each morning and enjoy the view. We saw deer around the cabin every morning and one afternoon we saw a bear as we drove back to the cabin, it was inside the gate but not near the cabin. The cabin is really nice and cozy. It was the perfect size for us and another family - we both have all girls so we put them all in the bunk room. If you are not used to mountain roads - we are from Florida - I recommend getting there before dark as the driveway is steep. When we arrived our code wasn’t working for the door but both the owner and property manager were very responsive and made sure we got in. I’d stay here again!

The owners or company that rents this location needs to make clear that the house is on a hill which makes it hard to get to it. The steps inside the house are hilly and steps short. The outside was a little dirty
