The property is very peaceful and well laid out. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean. I liked how there are multiple places inside and outside to sit and read a book. The farm animals are fun to visit. The food, breakfast, lunch and dinner, are fantastic. And the service is friendly, kind and accommodating. Also nice is that there is air-conditioning and heating in the rooms that can be controlled to one’s comfort.
The only downside is the sound from the dinner crowd travels to the rooms upstairs till late at night. For a heavy sleeper maybe this is not a problem. Though for a light sleeper, it’s challenging. There were several children while I was visiting and they were screaming and running up and down the stairs between the rooms and dining area. A few times they even hit my door while I was trying to rest after a day of hiking. The staff didn’t seem to mind or do anything about it.

Good place for honeymooning couples, people who want a 'ranch' feel or may be families with children who like animals. I booked because the restaurant was listed, disappointing it was closed when we visited. A bit of a drive to find another restaurant (not pizza). Breakfast was different, fresh and with nice options. Very helpful and friendly staff (we met only one). Shower repair was fixed quickly. Booked a twin room and got a double with a sofa, so just use the bed.
Parking down the driveway on the road, dark walk. Took a few minutes to find staff when arriving no clear reception, doors locked. No tea/coffee in the room, it's in a table room downstairs (not a very big problem). From the direction we travelled this took quite a long tricky drive to get to so consider in your plans. Needed to arrange the hour for breakfast but we modified our plans so it was OK in the end
