Tru By Hilton Franklin Cool Springs Nashville

Clean, nice location, friendly staff and a decent breakfast

We stayed in Franklin for our visit to Nashville. It worked out well and we would do it again if we ever had to return to Nashville (which probably won't happen -- not worth the traffic and crowds). Franklin, on the other hand, was lovely and we enjoyed walking around downtown Franklin. The hotel was fine for us, really bare bones in a practical way. Example: pegs on the wall are fine for hanging your clothes, maybe better than closets and drawers. I leave most of them in the suitcase anyway. Our bathroom had a comprehensive set of handicapped appliances (I don't know what else to call them). They weren't necessary for us, but they didn't hurt anything and made us feel very secure. The bottom of the combo shower/bath was textured, which I appreciated. Everything worked very well, in kind of a "steam punk" style. I appreciated the function and the style. The room was incredibly clean! The included breakfast was comprehensive and we (as well as others) really appreciated the duel pancake-making robots. The coffee and breakfast meats were also good.

The hotel was a little far from downtown Franklin, but not a problem if you have a car and don't mind driving. There are not a lot of restaurants in the business park where the hotel is located, but when we got tired of driving to Franklin, we enjoyed "Chicken Salad Chicks", which is a few blocks away.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Hotel sits in a quiet location, with plenty of restaurants within a couple minutes drive. Would stay here again.

Can't really think of anything I disliked.

The staff is incredible there. Extremely friendly and helpful. Loved the texts to check to see if I needed anything.
