Devan House - An Entertainers' Retreat Close to Town

Easy access to town. House was absolutely awesome I had everything you needed there even more would stay there again.

There was blood on the tiles in the ensuite but was warned about previous tenants so no stress

Beautiful home, spacious and well thought out - had everything you could need for a stay. Loved the fire pit and the games room! Great location, immaculately clean with comfy beds and plenty of space.

Nothing, it was perfect

The main bedroom was separate to the other bedrooms and very spacious and quiet. The house is in a quiet area just outside of town The beds were comfortable and the linen and towels of good quality. The house was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The games room was great. Good bbq facilities

The house was smaller than I expected. The internal walls are very thin and so all noise travels - with only one toilet and separate bathroom shared by the three rooms (excl. main) it was difficult to get away from the noises. There are no curtains in the bedrooms, only blinds which lets the light through as the sun rises. The cost was very high - but it was a peak weekend with the Mudgee Classic on, so possibly to be expected. However, I was surprised to be requested to pay $85 if I wanted firewood for the outside fire pit (which was not cleaned out) - this should be included.
