Maison Lapopie chambres et gîte

What an utter treat to spend the night in Saint Cirque La Popie. Encouraged by other reviews we booked, even though slightly above our budget - and it was worth every penny. The village is magical in the evening with swifts darting and swooping all around. The night sky, lack of pollution and beauty are breathtaking. The breakfast was the best we had in France - so fresh and delicious with stunning views from the terrace and gorgeously in the shade, protected from the sun. One night wasn’t enough and there was no chance to extend so we found a nice home in the valley for a second night. Don’t make our mistake - 2 nights needed! And don’t miss the museum - the surrealism in Mexico exhibition is exceptional.

I have stayed here before and wanted my niece to see this delightful little hotel. One of my favorite in France! The staff is wonderful and they bend over backwards to provide everything you need. Can't wait to go back again!

The only change I would make in the room is to change the glass on the one section of glass in the shower that faces into the bedroom. The clear glass doesn't provide much privacy; frosted glass would be much better.

Located at the heart of this magical village, with breathtaking view! Comfortable, full of character and charming atmosphere. Fantastic breakfast with plenty of choice - one of the best breakfasts I've had in France. Charming, extremely friendly and helpful owner. Highly recommended!

The location is excellent, in the middle of the village. The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Has all the commodities you might need. Details like blower, make up removers and shower gel were appreciated. Breakfast is served on a picnic basket right at your room door! You choose the menu and delivery time!!! Love everything about this bed and breakfast, will love to stay here again!

If I want to be picky… i would say the design of the shower could be improved. It doesnt have a door and the bathroom floor gets all wet.
