Boho Studio in Little Havana

Location is 3 streets from Havana's Calle 8, Host's service and hospitality, and TV with Netflix, Flexibility to drop bags in the living room before check-in

Sometimes, some smells come from the bathroom pipes, but it's not always. I guess they need to check that the sewerage system is working properly behind the scenes. However, the sink, toilet, and shower drained water as expected.

The free parking spot was great! The house is walkalbe to many of the popular restaurants and coffee shops on Calle Ocho. Our son soiled the bed the first night we were there, we messaged Sergio and he brought new bedsheets and extra trash bags the next day, which was prompt. The bathroom was a bit small but adequate. It worked for my wife and young son. But I think it would be cramped if you had 3 or 4 older people. The coffee maker, microwave and mini fridge were nice to have. The table and outdoor sink was really nice to have breakfast without waking our son, and hangout after he went to bed.

Sergio, it would be great if you provided a reusable freezer pack and cooler for guests to take to the beach. A toaster in the backyard on the counter would be nice too. Also, if you had a beach blanket and maybe an umbrella. for guests to use. Also, some buckets or small beach toys for people with kids. We stayed at a BnB in Hawaii and he gave us most of these things which was super convenient. Not really complaints, just suggestions.

The host was very kind and welcoming, which we truly appreciated. However, the accommodation itself was quite basic and showed signs of neglect. The property has a lot of potential, but unfortunately it does not seem fully utilized. With relatively little effort, the overall appearance and comfort could be significantly improved. There was a ping-pong table available, which was a nice idea, but unfortunately the ball was broken and could not be used. We had a room with an entrance from the back, and in the evening there was no lighting in that area, which made access to the room somewhat uncomfortable after dark. A positive aspect was the dedicated parking space. Considering Miami prices, the stay was relatively affordable, so expectations should be adjusted accordingly. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this place for families like ours. However, it may be suitable for someone looking for a short stay or a convenient stop during a trip.
