Excellent - would definitely stay here again!

Mrs Crossett was really so kind and lovely - we had an excellent breakfast spread! The place was located relatively centrally and was just a 5 min drive from the balloon festival in Chateau d'Oex.

As the house was a beautiful 400 year old chalet, you have to be relatively quiet so as to not disturb other people in the house. Not really a minus point but it's good to know in advance!

Friendly hostess, was very well taking care of me.

The bathroom was two floors up with squeaky floorboards and doors in between which made it for me who has to go to the toilet almost every night once very uncomfortable.

Charming location, cozy room, and incredible host!

Ruth, the owner, was a wonderful host! Additionally, my room was so cozy and the perfect place to rest my head after a long day of hiking. Lastly, the town was absolutely lovely!

Très beau chalet typique. Notre hôte nous a très bien accueillies et la chambre familiale était spacieuse et très propre, tous comme les sanitaires. Le petit déjeuner était copieux, et nous avons reçu des conseils précieux pour nos excursions. Nous avons été ravies de notre séjour.

Entsprach nicht unserer Erwartung

Freundlich Begrüssung. Sehr nette Gastgeberin. Die komplette Wohnung stand uns, 3 Personen zur Verfügung.

Das Haus hat uns leider nicht gefallen. Es entsprach jedoch der Beschreibung von Booking Com. Die Bilder erscheinen schöner als die örtliche Wahrnehmung. Vor Ort haben wir es dann dennoch anders wahrgenommen. Ein Familienmitglied hatte in den Räumen ein sehr unbehagliches, beklemmendes, Gefühl. Ausserdem führt die Hauptstrasse unmittelbar am Schlafzimmer, Wände aus Holz, vorbei. Wir haben die Übernachtung trotz Bezahlung nicht wahrgenommen und sind weitergereist.

Un prochain séjour au gré de mes passions, dans une région splendide.

Après un séjour sur Fribourg en Nov 2019, il était important que je m'arrête dans le charmant village de Rossinière, village de Balthus etc... découverte en 2023 du Festival La Folia à Rougemont, et un retour en ce mois de juin 2025 à Rossinière dans le cadre du Festival de La Folia puisque je suis amoureux de découvertes, voyages, musique en globalité, pour avoir entre autre pratiqué la discipline Folklorique dans ma région du Dauphiné comme musicien.

Uriges, freundliches Chalet in einem malerischen Dorf.

Uriges, gepflegtes, liebevoll eingerichtetes Chalet aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Mein Bett war bequem. Die Lage ist zentral, aber nachts ist es ruhig. Das Bad ist neu und sehr sauber mit einer guten Dusche. Fahrräder können über Nacht sicher in der Scheune eingeschlossen werden. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich und sehr entgegenkommend bei Frühstücks-Wünschen (Wunsch-Uhrzeit und Nahrungs-Unverträglichkeiten). Der Ort Rossiniere ist eine Reise wert! Es gibt viele sehr alte, sehr gut erhaltene, originelle Chalets zu entdecken.
