#5. Bungalow Garden -Bungalow-Queen-Ensuite

The Bungalow garden side is basically a raised teak bungalow built in a traditional rustic costa rican style in the rear of the property with a sleeping room upstairs, and the bathroom, shower, and closet area below. It is the original building on the property and gets the best breezes because it has windows on three sides. There is a huge deck with two chairs and long chair on the upper level, and the stairs to the ground, and bathroom, are on the outside of the building. Yep, this means you go outside to go to the bathroom, so it is a unique experience !! It is not next to the pool; it is behind the main house, so it feels a bit more private, and it gets a great breeze. Our last guests thought it was romantic.
The Beach Bungalows is a cozy boutique hotel consisting of four raised teak bungalows pool side and 1 raised teak bungalow garden side, conveniently located near the beach. There is also the Casita room, which is a more traditional hotel-like room.

Each bungalow is fitted with a queen-size bed, ceiling fan, A/C, mini-fridge, full shower bath, and a safe box for your valuables. On the lower level, each bungalow pool side has a personal lounge area near the pool, with daybeds or hammocks perfect for relaxing after a fun day at the beach!

We also have wi-fi available on the property, a refreshing pool, and a common kitchen area and barbecue grill for guest use. Come kick off your flip flops, stay with us and enjoy all Tamarindo has to offer.

The Beach Bungalows provides its guests with a one-of-a-kind opportunity to experience beautiful Costa Rica. Close to restaurants, bars, boutiques, and grocery stores and only a few minutes' walk to the beach, the Beach Bungalows provides a real getaway feel, with its unique garden setting and visiting howler monkeys, birds and iguanas.

We also have installed a state of the art water treatment system that allows gray water to be used for irrigation, helping to conserve precious resources, and a water purification system that makes the water from all taps drinkable.
