Harpers Ferry is a place for all seasons for many reasons and offers healthy historical activities, including bicycling, hiking, river sports, outdoor adventure parks, and museums. Harpers Ferry is located 8 miles away from Hollywood Casino which features several restaurants and “gaming” options in Charles Town, WV.
For guests that enjoy craft beers, Harpers Ferry Brewing is a kid friendly brewery located 3 miles from the inn and overlooks the Potomac River. Wine sommeliers can enjoy tastings at 40 local wineries in Harper’s Ferry and Loudon Co. Va. We were not prepared for the accommodations we were assigned as there were no pictures of the 1820 suite on the Website. Like staying in a cave, with all the characteristics one would expect... The other rooms had old world character, from the photos, but this was going too far.
