Recently upgraded, Blue Heron Cottages offers our guests the ultimate in turn key, PET FRIENDLY vacationing. Here you will find all you need for your stay of 3 days or 3 weeks or even 3 months. Each of our 6 dog friendly, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, cottages offer the same floor plan and appointments. Each sleeps up to 4 adults comfortably. You will find a queen sized bed in the separate bedroom and, in the living room, a sectional sofa which converts to a VERY comfortable full queen bed. All linens and towels are provided. The two areas share a jack-and-jill bathroom which can be accessed from either the living room or the bedroom. Each cottage is equipped with 4 sets of towels. The cottages are cooled by ocean breezes, ceiling and movable tower fans.
Amenities include a fully equipped, chef inspiring, kitchen. In the living room you will find a 40” SmartTV equipped with not only HD cable but also the latest technology to allow you to access Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Pandora, and various other entertainment Applications. The bedroom has a Smart Technology 32” flat screen TV with HD cable channels, as well as the above mentioned entertainment applications. Additionally, we provide beach towels, beach cruisers, boogie and surf boards, beach chairs, small coolers and sand toys for your use.

Both the living room and bedroom have SmartTVs equipped with Amazon FireSticks giving access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Pandora, and various other entertainment Applications.
Additionally, we provide complementary, beach cruisers, boogie and surf boards, beach chairs, small coolers and sand toys for your use.
All of our cottages open on to a lovely, fenced-in courtyard. Enjoy the large shared courtyard under the gazebo listening to the wild local parrots as they go about their day. Barbecue with friends and family, toss the ball for your pup, or just relax and soak up the sun in our lounge chairs.
The gazebo is the perfect spot to gather and enjoy the evening sea breeze or morning coffee.
Although our cottages have ceiling fans, tower fans and access to cool ocean breezes, it can still become uncomfortably hot during an all too common heat wave. So, in order to keep our rental rates lower for all, we have opted to provide portable a/c units for a nominal fee of USD 10/day, USD 60/week, or USD 200/month.
Each cottage comes with one off street parking place best suited for compact cars, but can accommodate small SUVs.
We offer free onsite laundry facilities and detergent.

The location of the cottages is great and the fully fenced courtyard is a big plus. Kitchen has everything needed to make a great meal (bring your own food obviously). The bikes, coolers, boards, etc are great to be able to use. Having parking is also great since street parking is impossible there. We had a great stay.

We loved everything from the enclosed court yard to pretty much everything we needed in the cottage. Soaps, dishes, laundry, beach supplies. Good old comfort without a hotel feel. Loved it and will certainly make it a point to return and stay more often. Austin was also an awesome property manager and friendly, helpful person!

The wife and I needed to get away after the terrible summer we have all had, not to mention we are from the desert and were longing for some cool ocean breezes. It was a little warm at first, but cooled down nicely after a day or two. The beach at the end of Santa Cruz Street is a wonderful small neighborhood beach that was not busy during the week, it did get a crowded on Saturday though. But overall OB is great and like no other place to visit.

This was a central location that allowed us to go visit several friends and family and we had our small dog. We live in the desert so she loved running around on the soft, plush grass. The cottage had everything you could possibly need. We didn't have any issues as all so had no reason to contact Charlie, the on site manager....however he was around and readily available if needed. A very personable and nice guy. It was also great to have a dedicated parking space.
