So comfortable and homely

The home was in a spectacular location on the lake with fabulous views. Inside was warm, comfortable and homely with everything you would need for a wonderful stay. The sauna was lovely too! Loads of tobogganing on the hill outside, the kids loved it. It made our stay in Lapland very special.

It is about 30 min drive in snowy conditions to the centre but that is the advantage of having snow and the views so we didn't mind that!

Dreamhouse with Northern Lights

The house is a dream 🥰 We spent 5 wonderful days at Chalet Norva. Everything in this house is just perfect; it's furnished with love and taste. Everything you need is there. We were incredibly lucky to see the Northern Lights on 3 nights. Sari and Henk are super nice hosts. We went on a wonderful snowshoe hike with them, where they cooked a delicious meal for us. We would have loved to stay longer. If we ever come back to Finland, we'll definitely stay at Chalet Norva again.

AMAZINNG EXPERIENCE !!

The house is incredibly well located. It is close to the airport and the city of Rovaniemi, yet it offers a wild setting that immerses you in nature. The view is simply exceptional and makes you want to admire it for hours. Everything is in place for a magical time with family or friends. There is plenty of space, and the magnificent living room lets you admire the frozen lake while staying cozy in front of a warm fireplace. The exterior is just as spectacular. You can build a fire near a small wooden shelter, creating a warm and convivial atmosphere even at -6°C, under a starry sky. And what about the owners? They are incredibly kind people who offer experiences off the beaten path, far from the usual tourist circuits. The house has two saunas, including an outdoor traditional one, offering a unique experience with the possibility of plunging into the lake at 2°C, under the watchful eye of Sari (the owner and soon-to-be guide!). Not to mention the ice fishing activity: after departing by snowmobile, we found ourselves in the middle of the ice, drilling holes to fish. An ingenious idea was to build a fire on a sled to grill some freshly caught fish and other meats. Sari and her husband really thought of everything and gave us an exceptionally intense and unforgettable experience. Many thanks to them and i recommend to make activities with them! My friends and I wholeheartedly recommend this place, and something tells me this won’t be our last visit!

With the cold, the Garage and Camp Fire floors were frozen. It might be a good idea to thaw them out to avoid to slide.

Stunning location

The location was amazing. We were in the forest alongside a frozen lake and spent several evenings outside, around the fire pit, watching the Northern Lights. The children loved sledging down to the lake and playing in the snow. The chalet was very comfortable and well equipped. It was an amazing holiday!

this house is was incredible!!! the host was super friendly and answered any questions we had straightaway. The kitchen is very well stocked with spices, dishes and anything you could possibly need! The house was so warm and cozy, absolutely incredible stay and cannot recommended enough!!

Semaine de rêve en pleine nature à deux pas de Rovaniemi

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans cette grande maison absolument magnifique bien chauffée et bien décorée. En plus nous avons fait une excursion en motoneiges organisée par Sari et son mari, nos hôtes. Nous avons eu ainsi la chance de les connaître et de passer avec eux un moment extraordinaire. Réserver une excursion avec eux est un gage de succès, loin des excursions touristiques de masse.

Rien ! Peut-être juste un panneau mentionnant le chalet Norva .. en arrivant sur place, rien n’indiquait que nous étions au bon endroit.

Świetnie położona nieruchomość, spokojna okolica w otoczeniu lasu, jeziora. Do wioski św. Mikołaja zaledwie 15-20 minut jazdy samochodem. Do 110% polecenia!

Tolle Lage, riesiges Haus, mega Nordlichter & Sonnenauf- und Untergänge

Das Haus liegt direkt am See mit eigenem Steg und Riesen Garten mit Feuerstelle. Es war wahnsinnig schön. Da das Haus ziemlich weit im Wald liegt (ca 7Km, ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit Nordlichter zu erkennen deutlich höher, da es dunkel ist. Es ist geräumig und die Küche ist voll ausgestattet.

Die Betten sind in 3 von 4 Zimmern Einzelbetten, die Bäder sehr alt und eines der beiden Bäder so klein; dass man beim duschen immer wieder das Wasser ausstellen muss; da man anderenfalls das gesamte Badezimmer flutet. Es hätte ein wenig sauberer auf dem Boden sein dürfen.
