Apartment in beachfront complex in El Duque area, Costa Adeje

Comfortable, spacious apartment, close to the seafront. Nice pool area, one of the pools was heated which was good in February.

No on-site cafe/bar. Wi-fi only worked in lounge.

The security at the complex is excellent . Pool areas kept clean and pools good ,also plenty of seating .

The apartment is located on the 4th floor in Altamira residential complex. It has a great sea view where you can enjoy sunsets. The owner recently changed TV and fridge/freezer to very decent models. Air-conditioner was clean and worked very well. Ceiling fans with lights did it job very nicely in both living- and bedrooms. Pool area is big and not overcrowded during high season in July, compared to nearby 5-star hotels. The big pool is heated. Lifeguard in the pool area during high season. Del Duque beach is just in front of Altamira pool area. Free car parking in front of Altamira. Altamira is located in the very peaceful and calm part of Costa Adeje. Good quality beach towels were provided. The oven and dishwasher made us feel right at home. Altamira residential area (inc. pools) is secured with fence and doors. Apartment host Evangelina was very responsive to our requests during the stay.

If you do not smoke, a resident from the adjacent apartment may bother you with constant smoking on the balcony. Sunshade on the balcony did not function properly and stopped working a week after our arrival. Shower drain was clogged. Its cleaning did not help. Sliding wardrobe doors were damaged. Only one set of keys.

Lovely pool and garden area with pool bar and facilities. The apartment was lovely, perfect for a couple. It was very clean and had everything you could need. The area is lovely and quiet with nice restaurants close by. Beautiful view from the balcony.

No negatives apart from apartment further down was having a refurb and there was some noise but as the apartments are all owned individually there is nothing that can be done about that happening occassionally.
