Great location, view and comfortable rooms

Great location if you want to explore Scheveningen and enjoy the beach. The rooms are well organized, great view of the sea, nice bathroom. My daughter and me had a great time in the swimming pool. It’s not so big but it’s big enough for a relaxing time, especially with the view on the 13th floor. The breakfast was good. Enough choice, though the warm stuff (eggs, beans, sausages) were a bit cold for my taste.

Two minor things. The pillows are too big/hard. So they are not very comfortable, especially for kids. You have two pillows on the bed, so one should be preferably softer so people have a choice. The other thing is the toilet in the swimming pool area. It’s a mixed toilet. There was no cleaning spray, container to disinfect the toilet seat. Especially for the ladies (my daughter) that’s a thing.

Beautiful weekend away in Scheveningen

Clean property, easy check in and out. Beautiful views. Big bath! Modern tv with options to stream own device through tv. Breakfast was okay but nothing fancy. Real fruit juice would have been nice.

There were parking bays by the hotel that was closed by concrete blocks and rope, not sure why. Parking at Qpark strandweg was a 300m walk from hotel. Beds were too soft and matress curled up by footing side and head side due to soft middle area. The windows had dotted patterns on them which partially blocked the beautiful view. Possibly a sun protecting pattern but not sure. Noise was travelling through passage and could be heard inside room when other guests were entering or leaving their rooms which was slightly disturbing.

Breakfast was good and the staff was very nice.

The double bed was awful (two joined mattresses without any extra layer. It just doesn't work). The extra charge of 20€ per hour of late check-out does not make sense in terms of value for money. This was actually the first time in my life I was asked for it... and trying to charge us for ropes, in an 4 star hotel with pool and a Spa was simply ridiculous. The indoor swimming pool is quite small for the number of guests, especially in the winter. There was a beach bar quite near, that had a loud beat until at least 1AM. Not the hotel's fault - of course - but did not let us fall asleep easily. When they said "sea view" I thought it was a front seaside view, like in the main facade, but our room was slightly on the side facade. Ok, we could see the sea, but it's not the best view they have...

Spotless, beautiful location on beach.

Tea/coffee facilities not good. Sachets of instant coffee were awful. No cups in room. Not 4 star standard. Also long walk (15 mins) to nearest tram/shops. Bedroom furniture too sparse. No wardrobe etc.

Swimming pool too small, even with the spa included I had to pay for a robe, two elevators are not enough for the amount of guests so long waiting lines, basic soap in the shower, more toiletries should be provided

Exceptional Place to Stay

What a lovely hotel, reception was very welcoming, room was exceptionally clean and also the city view from our room did not disappoint. With a 3 minute walk to the venue it was ideal. Would definitely book again without hesitation.

Great Hotel and Great service

The receptionist Helen was very welcomed, polite, and friendly, and made us feel really comfortable. Excellent service. Thank you very much Helen. Definitely, we will come back. Hotel very clean and modern, good swimming pool, sauna and steam room.

Breakfast was good. However, didn't have many options of cheese, ham, or bread. was a little crowded. People walked everywhere. it could be good if they had some signal to people do queue in one direction to avoid accidents. One person jumped when I was taking a coffee instead of waiting.

Very sad that there was construction and nothing was said or done about it

We have been here before. Normally It’s a lovely retreat on a beautiful location and very comfortable rooms

Blocked views because of construction 10m next to our room and had to wake up violently due to construction noise on Saturday at 7:45am. On the intell website and booking.com information there was no mention of ongoing construction just outside the hotel 10m next to the corner rooms. Also upon checkin no word about it and not even an apology letter in the room. Just a standard welcome letter with basic room and hote information. When asked a out it, nothing could be done because the hotel was full, so no equivalent (spa) room or upgrade could be provided. Also no discount or complementary breakfast or discount voucher for next time could be offered, even when asked about it. Next time we will take this inconvenience into consideration when booking again! I don’t think this is fair after paying a full price for this room without a proper view and being woken up by the construction noise.

Besides the privacy friendliness everything was okay.

The view, the cleanliness, in general the room was good.

For that amount of money I would have expected to have decent park possibilities. Parking was paid and expensive. So I came by train and bus. Other than that it's a pity that no where is mentioned that the room is not privacy friendly. I booked a wellness room for the whirlpool and sauna. Whirlpool was okay because I could use the curtains. But the sauna was not covered at all. Everyone from outside can look at you. I would have expected more privacy.

We booked a room with an ocean view, and we could just see a glimp of the ocean. They did transfer us to another room after complaining but that room was hardly any better. Our original room was on the 2nd floor and we would have looked at a billboard. We had to wait for the room to be cleaned, too bad that is wasn’t clean at all.

Location is very industrial, full of construction around, super expensive parking, rooms were not clean until 17:00, staff were very unfriendly, pool size and description has nothing to do with how they look like.

Too pricey for being a budget boutique hotel after all

Location

Warning: Hotel offers valet parking service near the reception desk, provided by a different company. The price per day is very high and you can't get your car back at night as no-one in the company is reachable and around in the hotel lobby. If you book the parking time until noon and you want to have the car back at i.e. 02:30 a.m. you will have bad luck. And this is a no-go which is not acceptable. People must have the free choice when they get their car back. Also, the valet service doesn´t tell you where the car is situated. And the reception stuff is not motivated at all to help you regarding these matters.

Long wait for the check in, poor furnishing in the room, no water/no food in the room, sea view wasn't really good (it was half sea half construction site on the beach), strange pillows, early check out

Nice beach location with comfortable modern rooms

Nicely decorated rooms, practical also. Empty fridge and hot water kettle enabled us to snack in the rooms. Very close to the beach.

Waiting times elevators. Inside swimming pool very small. Restaurant nothing special but not cheap. Half of the nights a marihuana smell came through the ventilation system - very uncomfortable. Staff did not really resolve it

the location is good. it is clean and modern hotel

we booked a room with see view. but we got a room that had a little of sea view when we were standing at the window. they charged us 10 euro per night to give us a room with a normal see view. The staff at our arrival were unfriendly and their treatment was insulting but other days they were very nice and friendly. The windows are full of dots therefore the view was not as expected. They have pool and spa at 13 floor. The pool was very small and not clean. I will never ever book this hotel.

Fantastic location overlooking the whole Scheveningen beach with comfortable and spacious rooms.

My initial thought was that the building itself was super ugly but after staying at the hotel for couple of nights I totally appreciated the location and the large glass windows and almost 360 views to the beach and the marina. I really liked having the sauna and the bath in our room. Top floor is definitely better than lower floors that overlook the shipping yard and the parking. I liked how comfortable the room was with plenty of storage space, hangers, towel hooks and tables. I loved the location.

The staff and the hotel management was not very flexible. They have a lot of strict rules in terms of service hours, room service, spa towels etc. The bicycles they have onsite were quite basic and not very comfortable for the price you pay per day. I wasn't crazy about the cleaning products they use as they were quite heavy chlorine based so a bit toxic for me.

Found my stay Absolutely faultless, from the friendly staff, and no problem attitude we loved every minute. in particular one staff member at the bar who offered to warm our private food in the microwave as we couldnt eat their food and made us feel so at ease about it, wish i remembered his name. This and everything else made our whole stay so comfortable, relaxing and worth every penny. The room was clean, aircon comfortable and swimming pool facilities so great i literally cant find any fault. Thank you for having us and would 100% reccomend to any friend or family.

Their was no option of a room with a balcony making it inpossible for my partner to smoke in private. this wasnt a problem but it would have been more easy to have that option.

Location was good. Hotel was clean, safe and had a good vibe.

Beds were a bit hard. View from the room was poor. Parking at the parking lot in front of the hotel was confusing. Area code was missing, so we ended up paying far too much for parking.
