Newport is a favorite stop along the Oregon coast for a reason - the wide variety of activities and access to Yaquina Bay and the ocean make it a prime location to explore. Connect to Nye Beach just under two miles away, through you may not want to miss the viewpoint by the Yaquina Bay Bridge just over a mile-and-a-half from the studio. The Oregon Coast Aquarium is just over three-and-a-half miles away, and is a half mile further from the Rogue Ales & Spirits pub. You can also sip some delicious local wine at the Newport location of Noble Estate Winery, just under a mile away. But of course, you can't leave Newport without enjoying some chowder from Mo's Seafood & Chowder. There's just one mile from the studio!

Every thing was great, friendly people and staff, views of the harbor were cool. And access to the private crabbing dock was wonderful. My only disappointment was the jets in the tub were not functional, which was ine of the things we were looking forward to.

We loved the location and the charm of the unit. Bathroom and sitting area were nice. We only had a few complaints: the jet tub didn’t jet, the mattress is old and worn out and needs replacing, and the freezer is almost completely encased in ice.

Do not stay here they don’t effectively list which amenities are working or not working In the room. Other customer reviews mentioned the jetted tub. BUT THE POSTING BARRIES THAT ABOVE MENTION TUB DOES NOT HAVE FUNCTIONING JETS. Also the customer service team is rude and unresponsive what a rip off price wise. Don’t ever stay with Vacasa they don’t care about their customers at all!

Nice views, comfy bed. Didn’t get to use the pool or spa as they were under repairs so we were bummed about that. Vacasa site said it would be open on the dates we were there when I booked. The harbor seals are fun to listen to and the views are great!!

This was a very unique little condo, perfect for a one-person getaway. The space was adorable, and it was great to have the little balcony to sit outside in the evenings and listed to the Sea Lions. It could definitely use a few upgrades such as repairing the jets in the tub that didn't work, replacing the screen to the patio, and making sure the entrance is maintained. But overall, very nice!

Place was very charming, perfect for two adults. Make sure you know that there is no kitchen. But there is a microwave and a coffee maker, and a few dishes. We loved it and will come back The only downside animal hair that my husband is allergic to. But that’s his fault.

Don’t be fooled by the pics. This place is not like the pics. The rug covering most of the living space is filthy with dog pee stains and plain dirt! It has been reported before and nothing was done.). It has not been kept up well. The toilet wouldn’t flush and a maintenance had to replace a part in the tank. Then the door handle broke and we got locked in. Maintenance had to be called and we were stuck for / hours. The wall heater is melting the plastic wallboard behind it and looks like it will catch on fire. The tray the coffee pot is sitting on is broken. The chairs are not comfy and the bed is too hard. You won’t find much on the TV. The toilet paper and paper towels are the cheapest you can buy and the towels too.

This stay was a mixed bag and bottom line is I would look for a different option next time. The space was nice but Vacasa has really gone downhill. PROS -Nice location. We've stayed at the Embarcadero before and really like it. Great amenities and right on the marina. -Dog friendly. -Great bathroom. My tall husband loved all the room in the shower. -Top level (no stomping above you, good view). -Windows did a good job of keeping marina and sea lion noise out. -Good price but now I know why. CONS -Rug is filthy and needs to be thrown out. Multiple stains. Socks get brown right away. I didn't even want my dog sleeping on it. -There is no manual. This was needed for the very confusing heating situation, bathroom floors, and TV. Would be convenient for things like dinner suggestions and check out instructions, though those can be found online. -Heating situation very, very confusing and ineffective. There is a thermostat which seemed to do nothing. I messaged Vacasa and a person apparently in India gave me repetitive, unhelpful, and generic advice ("kindly locate the Nest thermostat.." [it wasn't a digital Nest, it was a manual Cadet]; "kindly locate the breaker box" [there is no breaker box in the unit, it is in a different unit]). At one point I had to ask her if she even knew where I was staying, it was so weird and unhelpful, and wasted a lot of time. I gave up with her and tried to figure it out. The one single heat register on the furthest wall at the end of the hallway finally did seem to ineffectively kick on but it made alarming rattling noises, and the wall around it seemed rather scorched, so I reached out again. She said she was contacting local staff. I never heard from "local staff" and when I followed up on the last day after giving up completely, I was just given generic apologies and excuses. There is an electric fireplace that did work well and this what we used to heat the unit. -Similar experience with the "heated floors". There is a separate thermostat in the bathroom for the supposed heated floors. It was blinking and had a million options. I spent quite a bit of time trying to program it and I really thought I had it at one point but nothing happened. I reached out to Vacasa but you can probably fill in the blanks at this point. She even tried to tell me radiant heat takes a long time. I've been on heated floors plenty and these were just super cold the whole time. I gave up. Manual sure would have been helpful! -No bath mats. Had to use most of our hand towels on the floor. (Shower has no door which is a nice design but floors get very wet.) Only three towels. -Bathroom privacy. The bathroom is beautiful but note that there is no glass in the window, only shades. I tried to determine this ahead of time reading the reviews and looking at the pictures so let me tell you- the only thing between you and the rest of the studio is shades. So turn up the TV..? Also be aware that they provide plates and cups but the only place to wash them is the bathroom sink. There was no coffee or tea provided for even the first morning so I had to go to the front desk to ask. The front desk guy was very helpful. Vacasa used to offer more soaps and a little felt bag, but everything has been way pared down to one mini bar of soap and one little shampoo and conditioner. Worked for our brief weekend. A suggestion would be another hook in the bathroom and definitely one at the door. I wipe my dog's feet before entering and there was no where to hang her towel, a leash, or a wet jacket when entering the suite. My husband was also surprised there was no fan in the bathroom for all that condensation. We love the Embarcadero but I would be looking at other options first next time, rather than this studio. A lot of this would be moot if Vacasa was like it was...

While I did enjoy my stay at this property, I do have a few comments: 1. Probably due to the construction and location, when it is sunny outside, the unit really heats up. For example. on 6/25 it was 79 in Newport but 96 inside. Other days it was in the mid-80's. 2. Inside lighting is quite low for reading at night. 3. The table near the bed is SMALL for one, not fit for more. 4. The stairway from 2 to 3 is steep for seniors with baggage. IF I went back it would be to a lower floor unit.

Very nice spot. One thing to be aware of-there is no window between the bathroom and the main room. It’s open with no glass. There are blinds. If you go in the winter, it’s heated by an electric stove and it was a loiter cold. Other than that- a nice, comfy spot.

We loved the room other than a few little things. We loved the location. We did not though like dealing with Vacasa. We arrived about an hour and a half early but neither Vacasa nor the property would guarantee our car wouldn't be towed to walk the pier until check in time. So we parked our loaded car on the pier an drove back. Then our key did not work at check in. They took care of it but it took time. At 6 p.m. the second night we lost power to every plug in when a fuse blew. This disabled the fireplace and we were cold all night and couldn't watch TV or plug anything in. We had food in the fridge and it didn't work any longer. The breaker box was in anoth we unit and they were not willing to help us until 9 a.m. the next morning. So unacceptable and we were not offered any kind of compensation. The blanket had a brown stain on one side and there was a couple stains on the sheets. The heater in the wall in the hallway had burn marks around it and the wall was very hot to the touch when running it. It is obvious that it was not installed right and is a fore hazard. The heated floors in the bathroom did not work. The toilet did not work well. The hair dryer was broken. This was supposed to be a romantic weekend for my partner and I and Vacasa dropped the ball. This is not a personable company. Next time I will use Air BNB.

This condo was very cozy and relaxing. The view was amazing, the bed was comfortable, the bath and shower were great. The room was reasonably clean. My small complaints: I was expecting full Dish cable, but it was only basic channels. The condo needed a more thorough dusting on the ceilings and lights, and it was dirty under the bed. There were no blinds on the patio door which was a little uncomfortable at night.

The great: Really nice room! Everything was sparkling - good towels and essentials. Views are wonderful! Echoung sounds of sea lions at night is awesome. The plainly weird: the description and photos dont expressly depict that, say for wooden blinds, the toilet and bedroom are all one space. I am not a fan of urination etc with an audience. Also pretty steep stairs - this should be mentioned. Deck could also use another chair to match the photos. One chair was lonely. And maybe some coffee for the room. But overall, would certainly stay again - it was wonderful. .

The studio was amazing. Great view of the harbor. The staff was polite & very professional. When we arrived, after traveling al day, we had no bath towels. I was told when I called, they would bring the next morning. They offered $25 off for my stay, never received? The electric fireplace never worked. Check ed out the sauna & pool, the pool was nasty, hadn’t been cleaned. I would definitely stay in the same room, when returning next year. Another plus it’s very quite and property well maintained.

Our room #C308 was amazing. The room was so clean. We loved the large bathroom with jet tub & large shower. The view was spectacular, night & day. It looked over the bay. I only have a couple of comments, they weren’t a big deal. Wanted to bath after a long day, no bath towels. The person I spoke with said they would give me a $25.00 credit on my CC. It still hasn’t showed. We had to use hand towels. LOL. We could never get the electric fireplace to work. We didn’t use sauna or pool, but went to check it the last night we were there. Wasn’t well kept & the pool water was NASTY! I highly recommend this property, the outside grounds are well kept, & the staff is polite & very professional. We will return to stay next year at this time.

Our room was everything we had hoped for and had everything you would need for a basic stay. The only downfall was that the sunlight above the big chair was extremely dirty with bird poo and there wasn’t any coffee pre stocked (which most everywhere provides), other than that, everything else was perfect. The bed and sitting in chairs were very comfortable as well.
