Nice stay

Great location, spacious room, good breakfast

No smiles in the reception when we arrived. On the website we got the impression that there was a gym at the hotel, but there was not. You have to walk a bit to get to a gym. As members we should have 2 for 1 breakfast, but we was not informed about that when we checked in so we paid full price.

A smart and comfortable hotel - great value.

This is a Scandic Hotel in the centre of Sortland. It delivers exactly what you expect of a Scandic hotel - a high quality business hotel type feel. The restaurant is open quite late and does good food. Staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is solid.

This hotel met all my expectations - maybe the coffee machines at breakfast could be better - but I am nitpicking here. Sortland is quite an industrial town so there aren't dramatic walks from the front door.

Perfect place to stop in Sortland

Very clean and new. Every staff member was professional and very friendly. Perfect location a block from main downtown and cruise ship docks. Outstanding water views.

Great location, outstanding breakfast.

Room as advertised, but a little compact for family. Otherwise clean and adequate. Parking was not free and cost an additional 130 krona

Surprisingly good decor and food. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Would stay again.

We had a nice water view but I suspect rooms on the other side will face a rather dull set of car parks and port machinery. Pillows smelled a bit musty.

Scandia Sortland

The accommodations were excellent, very clean, convenient to find, friendly staff. The breakfast provided was amazing & restaurant offered a nice choice for your evening dinner. Highly recommend the Lamb steak dinner. Views are incredible plus they have a floating sauna.

No negative items once we figured out how to pay for overnight parking of 95nok.

Hard to get meatless gluten free breakfast.

Clean hotel. Nice to stay there after hiking and sleeping in a tent.

We emailed in advance for gluten free breakfast, but there was no gluten free bread. The staff told that they cannot get it. (We went to a supermarket next to hotel and buy it our selves. For us it wasn't that hard to get it.)

Good

Fantastic views from the rooms, the restaurant and the terrace. Breakfast and dinner were varied and good. The staff was kind and accommodating when we requested to move to a room far from the elevator.

One elevator (out of 2) was out of order during all our stay (3 days). The elevator beeps loudly every time a button is pressed or a floor is reached. It was impossible to sleep in rooms located close to it!

Parking costs 95 nok/day - hotel parking. It is not expensive, but there is no reason to pay for parking. 200m from the hotel there are unlimited street parking, including a number of big free parking lots.
