Super welcoming and clean

The flat was super clean and had super good wifi and a tv with Netflix access which was also nice. The host gave us a great welcome and even left cookies and other treats for us upon our arrival as well as mini sizes of shampoos/conditioners and soap!

There is nothing I didn’t like. Maybe I would have appreciated two towels per person rather than one but that’s not a big deal.

Amazing stay in Cornwall!

The location was amazing and the host, Derek was really helpful ahead of the visit and when we arrived. Everything you need is included at the property, even tea, biscuits and fudge! Thank you Derek for a wonderful stay! We were very comfortable in the little granny annex and would definitely rent your place if we come back again.

A great place to stay - excellent value for money

Derek, the host was there to greet us on arrival with a lovely Cornish hamper. A great little cottage with plenty of space inside for two people. Derek provided excellent directions to find the accommodation. Car can be parked right out the front, easy access to the cottage and in a very quiet area. Inside there are a library of books, DVDs, games and plenty of tourist brochures/maps & Netflix if you are stuck inside on a wet day. Derek was very friendly and helpful with questions on road rules and the general area. Excellent value for money. I would stay here again if I came back to Cornwall.

Excellent

We were surprised how welcoming was Dereck. We came to visit St Michael castle and stayed 2 days for relax. Dereck explained everything on arrival. Property was clean and comfortable, very good location and had everything you need. We definitely recommended this property to everyone.

Lovely 2 night stay

The property had everything we needed for a comfy stay, we were warmly greeted by Derek and there were loads of nice little touches such as toiletries and biscuits.

It's a little out of the way and the bed is a small double so a bit too cosy - and of course the weather was terrible but couldn't be helped 😂

It's a budget accommodation in someone's house, it was as expected. We needed 2 beds/sleeping areas and this fit the bill. Host was friendly. Rooms were a bit dated/tired, but clean. Very small double bed and sofa bed. Has everything you'd need in kitchen/rooms.

Perfect base for exploring western Cornwall

Derek is such a nice host! We were welcomed very warmly, got a funny tour through the flat and some coffee, tea, fudge and bathroom supplies were provided for our stay. The flat had an Alexa and there were plenty of maps for tours around Cornwall. We also enjoyed cooking in the small kitchen that had everything we needed. A short 20 minutes walk away lies Trencrom Hill, where we enjoyed lovely sunsets. Also, the coastline of Cornwall with its lovely coves is incredibly beautiful. We can definitely recommend Ferney Croft, especially for families.

A thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Ferney Croft is in a great location and is equipped with everything you could possibly need as the owner has been very thoughtful. The property was clean and comfortable. it was great to have off road parking too. There are great walks from the doorstep and it's an easy walk to St Erth station.

Exceptional

Lovely, comfortable flat, well-equipped with everything we needed for a short-break. Very reasonable rate for the area and time of year. Quiet location, only 5 mins drive/15 mins walk from St Erth Park and Ride from where you can take the Rail branch-line to St Ives, or the open top bus to Lands End, so we hardly used our car. Off road parking and excellent Wifi. Welcoming host - Derek, lives next door so on hand for any queries, met us on arrival and showed us around. Enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning to Ferney Croft to further explore this beautiful area of Cornwall.

Exactly what I wanted!

Lovely, quiet place, with everything one would need for a fee days around the area. Well equiped kitchen, coffee machine, a PS4, books, Netflix, DVD’s, all in a cosy little place.
