Livist Resort phetchabun

I have for years believed hotel staff hate the platforms and pick the worst room available when possible. Below is view from the room they gave me despite only being 34% occupied. Be interesting if Booking com publish this review.

Silly wee glass mugs in the bedroom but then again, they didn't supply any tea or coffee either. No safe in the bedroom, no coat hangers.

Food not always good.

It’s incredible this hotel is in Phetchabun! The level of this hotel and rooftop restaurant is something you would expect in the major tourist towns and for the reasonable price? I mean, to be fair, for this price and breakfast… I don’t know how they do it. SO reasonable. Then, the rooftop bar, the two of us order until we can’t eat anymore with drinks for about 1000 baht. We both could have been happy for half that price. I’m taking my mom in law here next. SUCH a great place, it’s the only option in the entire area, including Khao Kho that makes you feel like you are on a luxury vacation. I’ve lived in Thailand for 9 years, 200 YouTube videos in every province and this place stood out that much.

It is a new, fancy and very nice hotel. The rooftop restaurant is good and has reasonable prices. Unfortunately we faced several problems in this hotel.

On both days there had been no parking lots available. On the first days it was full, on the second day all empty spaces had been reserved for the visitors of a wedding party in the garden. Hotel guests have no priority for them. It was the worst Wifi on our trip. On the first evening in the rooftop restaurant, we did not get the bill. They just told us the price. After we had payed , we asked why it was so expensive. Then they gave us half of the money which we had payed back. They have a huge and nice balcony. But no chair, table or sun protection. So completely useless.
