Villa Trisano

We spent a wonderful weekend at Villa Trisano, a charming historic villa in Bra, and the experience was simply exquisite. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and kindness. The hosts were attentive, gracious and always available, without ever being intrusive. Every request was met with a smile, and we felt looked after at every step. We were also told that the villa was once home to Giovanni Arpino, the celebrated writer whose novel inspired the film Scent of a Woman, which adds a lovely layer of literary history. It is the perfect base for exploring the outstanding food of Bra and the Langhe. Highly recommended for a stay with real charm.

The charging station did not work.

It’s a charming villa like you would expect in Italy, with a lush garden. The rooms are beautiful as well. Marco is a great communicator and Monica made us a beautiful breakfast.

We didn’t have a problem with it and didn’t have heavy suitcases, but there are quite some stairs to take to go up to the rooms. So it is something to know about if you’re not an easy walker or older. We came in the fall to drop of our daughter who will start a study in Bra. So it wasn’t in full season. We had the villa completely to ourselves. Again for us it worked out great, but if I would have been here all by myself I would have felt a little lost and even a little scared. So if you are a solo traveler off season, you might want to ask if there are more bookings.

Large and clean room, greattbreakfast
