Decolores had the various spaces I needed to spend my time optimally. A nice walk to the downtown, park, and pier which I did once or twice daily. Hope I can do it again sometime.

The only reason we may not return a fourth year is because it does not have a screened porch or even a covered porch for that matter.

Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed certain aspects of this property: The location is fantastic, within easy walking distance to our favorite spots on Maddox Blvd. and on Main St., and we loved the water view from the deck and being so close to the channel to catch sunsets. The property is very spacious, all on one level, and we never felt cramped. Having 2.5 baths is fabulous! The kitchen was stocked (dishware-wise) with pretty much everything you might need for a week (no scissors, tho). It has a seemingly new dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, toaster, multiple coffee pots, etc. It has at least two huge smart TVs. We ate nearly every meal on the deck and had no issues with bugs; the deck, however, only seats 5 at the table (property sleeps 6). But unfortunately, the condition of this property will keep us from coming back. It’s old and needs a serious refresh. The furniture feels old and grungy, even if it’s not. Part of that may be that we found the property in less-than-clean condition. We had to dust surfaces and clean drawers ourselves. We found dirty linens stuffed in a dresser drawer and dirty clothes in a hamper. There were runners and doilies on so many surfaces, and those were dirty and dusty. One bedroom window was cracked all the way through and “fixed” with electrical tape. One bathroom door was split and “repaired” with masking tape. The wood of the bathroom doors was split and peeling at the bottoms, which is a safety issue. There is dark carpeting throughout, which again, even it’s not old, gives the sense of being grungy, especially in a beach location, where carpet captures sand. The sliding screen door (which is the main door) needs to be replaced. There was nowhere in particular to hang towels (a line of some sort would be helpful!) or bathing suits outside to dry. And with windows open, the location is a bit noisy. If this property were rehabbed, fitted with with vinyl flooring, cleaned thoroughly, and given ne
