COCO REEF ECOLODGE

The location of the lodge is beat iful. We booked for garden view, host upgrade us to ocrean view. Very chill and nice. Also the food is very nice. They have a beatiful garden too. Family friendly. The host couple is very welcoming and nice. We appreciate a lot for the stay and looking after well to us. Compare with Paje or Jambiani, Kimzikazi is much more quite. Amd less tourists.

Excellent breakfast. The lodges are in a lovely setting with monkeys and wildlife all around. A nice walk to the village to see the fishermen.

Sadly we suffered power cuts during our stay and the generator was not working. Sandrine did everything she could to make everything acceptable but it was a bit difficult.

Location, staff, eco friendly, cheap.

The little problem that I had was the rooster singing at 5 o'clock :)

The location

There are some noisy construction works just next to the lodge which woke us at 6am every morning and they didn’t stop until late evening. It was quite annoying because It was impossible to rest properly. When the construction workers finished their work day, they went to the same beach that the lodge has access and they were quite noisy. We have complained about this many time but nothing changed. Also, be careful when you book a sea view room, but may end on a room where you can barely see the sea but it is called “sea view”.
