Madeleine Chalet - Snow and Trek - Morzine

Comfortable, spacious and relaxing. Well equipped too.

It might have been us, but we couldn't get either oven to come up to temperature.

I had a really positive stay at Chalet Madeleine in Morzine. The chalet was comfortable, clean, and well looked after, with everything I needed for a relaxing trip. The setting is lovely and quiet, and it was a great base for exploring the area. What really made the stay terrific was discovering the free bus service, which stops nearby. Once I learned about it, it completely changed the experience – I could get up and down without having to tackle the hills every time, which saved a lot of time and energy and made getting around very easy. Overall, I had an excellent stay and would happily return.

Need t invest in a hot tub!

Leuk huis. Beetje gedateerd. Maar wel voorzien van alle zalen die een verblijf aangenaam maken voor een gezelschap van 8 personen.

Geen enkele dag is de steile oprit sneeuwvrij gemaakt. Meerdere keren melding van gemaakt. De dag voor ons vertrek nogmaals aangeven dat we nu toch echt een probleem hebben om weg te komen. Wederom de belofte dat de oprit begaanbaar zou worden gemaakt voor ons vertrek. Uiteindelijk zelf met 8 man anderhalf uur bezig geweest om de oprit voldoende sneeuwvrij te maken zodat we huiswaarts konden. En dit zonder fatsoenlijk materiaal. Daar zit je ‘s morgens om 5 uur niet op te wachten als je ook om 6.30 uur had kunnen opstaan.

The property was comfortable.

The location is misleading, it’s not really ski in/out. There are only enough logs for one night and some parts were not that clean.
