Panama Dos35 Unit 5

Location is great - only 2 short blocks from the beach and around the block from Leys market (owned by Safeway). The bed is very comfortable and air conditioning (A/C) was very appreciated this trip. Everyone said it was unusually hot for November, 90 degrees with humidity feels like 103. We had to run the A/C all the time. In past trips we only had to use it at night. We won't go back in November but that isn't the condo's fault. The other visitors at the condo were quiet which we always appreciate. Bottled water at a special faucet is provided so we didn't have to buy bottled water. There was previously a problem with itty bitty ants but we saw very few of them. Still we took precautions of putting food on the counter in zip lock bags. Better to be safe than sorry. Jose and Marta are really nice and we are thankful for all the service they provide! Another note about the condo - it is across from a bus stop and a school so there is some associated noise. It's worse around the holidays.

Not being familiar with the city or the property, relying on pictures and reviews can be a bit risky. However, the property and the location were perfect for our stay…just short of 3 weeks. My only complaint was that we did not receive the check in and access information until the morning of our flight. Not getting this information a couple of days in advance did cause me some anxiety.

This was our third stay at Colonia 5 de Diciembre. The condo is located 2 short blocks from the beach and is almost across the street from the grocery store. Jose met us and helped with our luggage to check us in as soon as we arrived at the condo. Our condo was clean and recently remodeled - new paint and decorations mainly. The bedding and bathroom towels are good quality. The king bed is very comfortable. Sitting area furniture was adequate but not particularly comfortable though. The air conditioners in sitting and bedroom areas are very efficient. We used the bedroom one at night with the ceiling fan. There's noise from a bus stop and school across the street from the condo, specifically the bedroom sliding doors. This means sleeping with windows open at night is not an option for us. This definitely won't keep us from enjoying our future stays here!
