Come visit the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan!
Copper Ridge is a large 3 bedroom / 2.5 bathroom house located right next to the Bill Nicholls Trail 3. The parking area is a large, pull-through style driveway with enough room to fit multiple trucks and trailers.
The house is a 2 story, with a master bedroom and bathroom on the main floor and 2 bedrooms upstairs. There are no steps to enter into the house.
Each bedroom has a king bed and the "Bunk Room" also includes a twin size bunk bed with pull out trundle bed. The sofa, in the upstairs game room, pulls out to a twin size bed also. There is a baby pack and play crib available for guest use.
The entry/mudroom is spacious and includes plenty of room to dry snowmobile or ATV gear, hang wedding attire, or any other necessary items you need for your vacation. There is a half bath located just inside of the entry door for your convenience.
The main living room and upstairs game room are open and a great place to relax in the evenings. In the main living room, there is a gas fireplace for your enjoyment, with comfortable seating for hours of relaxation. Upstairs you will find a pool table, Pac-Man game, Fuse-ball, board games, card games, and books. There is also a small sink and counter for additional convenience.
There are no TV's in the house, but wireless internet is provided for guest devices. The kitchen is fully stocked with table settings, utensils, pots, pans, etc. The coffee maker is able to use single-serve k-cups or ground coffee for a full pot. Outside there is a large gas grill ready for guest use. Full washer and dryer are available for guest use.
There is an outdoor fire pit and plenty of yard to enjoy games.
The area offers something for everyone. Some of the many activities to enjoy nearby include downhill and cross country skiing, snowmobiling, mountain biking, ATV-ing, fishing, and relaxing on one of the many Lake Superior beaches.
Copper Ridge is located 4 miles from Houghton and 6 miles from MTU.
This property has plenty of space for truck and trailer parking. Trail is located across the street (Allouez Street).
With the house being located so close to a main snowmobile/ATV trail and busy town road, there is a potential for noise. Please take the time to consider this if you are looking for a secluded, quiet vacation.

We enjoyed the pool table, arcade games and others. There was lits of room to spread out, play, read, visit and relax. Beds were very comfortable and the showers were hot.

Bedrooms were nice and comfortable. The road was busier than we thought it would be. Plenty of parking and easy to find. Wish there was a TV for at night when we were there. Easy access to town. Had an issue with having allot of flies, but that could have been the time of year. House was very nice and well stocked.

We booked this home while we were in Houghton for a sorority reunion. The property was exactly as beautiful as listed, and very comfortably housed 2 couples, my grandma, a 12 year old, and a 20 month old. Everything was clean, spacious, and felt so luxurious for our trip! Our host was also so kind and prompt in answering every question I had! We will definitely book again in the future!

This was a wonderful home. The turn around driveway was perfect as we had a motor home and trailer. Still kind of wished there was at least one tv. Cool and rainy in it motorcycle trip so a lot of games were played
