Neighborhood Description:
The condo is located in the Melrose/8th Ave area. The street has been increasingly rising as one of Nashville's hot spots but hasn't yet been overtaken by the crowds you'll find on Honky Tonk Row (Broadway). There are a number of tasty local restaurants and a few fun bars nearby such as Cilantro (across the street), M.L. Rose, The Sutler, The Smiling Elephant, 8th and Roast, Craft Brewed, Melrose Billiards, and more. About a mile away you can find a great local music venue called the Basement!
Getting Around:
ON FOOT
There are great local eateries, cafes, and bars nearby worth exploring within a 5-minute walk just North or South of the condo on 8th ave. Please keep in mind that currently there is a new building being constructed next door to this building so there are limited sidewalks to use at this time.
RIDESHARE
There are rideshares all over the city from Uber, Lyft, and even Earth Rides (Tesla cars only). They are easy to call anytime day or night. Pro traveler tip: download all apps to your phone so you can compare prices and get the cheapest option!
TAXIS
See the ride share option above, taxis are available however few and far between and can be quite pricey in Nashville. There are so many taxi companies that we really cannot recommend any one over another, and we encourage you to investigate rates and reviews to find one that suits your needs.
MTA BUSES
The MTA (Metro Transit Authority) Buses run all over Metro Nashville and even some surrounding counties. Very reasonable fares and the wide range of routes make the bus a cheap and easily navigable choice for visitors. The closest route to the studios will be #8.
NASHVILLE B-CYCLE
Nashville's bicycle sharing program has been a huge success with locals and tourists. Simply walk up to any Nashville B-Cycle station, swipe your credit card, and pick out your red bike! The closest B-Cycle station to the will be in 12South.
ELECTRONIC SCOOTERS
You can find electronic scooters throughout the city. They can be used by downloading the specific app on your smartphone (various scooter companies) and entering your credit card information. Must have a license.

We selected a fourth-floor condo due to its proximity to Broadway and 12th Street. It was ideal for both. The condo was ready, clean, and up to date. It was within hearing distance of a train track, so plan on hearing that once in a while, no big deal. Nice spot, I would recommend it.

We stayed a full week in this lovely apartment. Lots of space for two couples, safe building and location. Would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay while visiting Nashville. Clean, great open floor plan. Grocery store is close by. If you don't want to drive to downtown, Lift or Uber is convenient. The management company was very responsive to questions or concerns. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Nashville!
