Overall a good stay, great views of wildlife, plenty of space, and close access to the town of Julian. Lots of parking availability as well in case you have a big group.
Due to Covid restrictions the host doesn’t provide shampoo, conditioner, and does provide minimal toilet paper. To make this stay the best and easiest possible id recommend grabbing those basics before your stay.

So incredibly peaceful. Love having deer and wild turkeys wandering around in morning and evenings. Close to Julian and dozens of great hikes but very much still out in the country. Owners were great people. No keys to worry about - code lock on front door is a great idea. Good wifi, Alexa everywhere - grandkids very @home.
Never saw any mountain lions or wolves. Bummer.
