About this house rental
Escape to the Cottage at Hawkins Lake, perched lakefront with the utmost privacy. Enjoy the serenity from your private dock. Sip your morning coffee on the patio overlooking the lake and make memories around the fire at night. Enjoy a game of bocce ball or ladder ball while eagles soar overhead. Play in the games room or soak in the clawfoot bathtub overlooking the lake. In winter, cross-country ski, snowshoe or snowmobile on nearby trails, then cozy up in front of the woodstove. This is a truly magical place.

What a beautiful home! This was the perfect setting for a girls weekend away with a breathtaking view of the lake and lots of space for all 5 of us. They have literally thought of everything! The kitchen had every thing we could have needed, the beds and bedrooms were large and comfortable and the room downstairs was ideal for movie nights. We got to do some kayaking during the day and even had a fire in the firepit outside. Derek and Martina were very kind and attentive hosts from the day we booked to the day we checked out. Superstars!The accommodations and the setting are a 5 out of 5 and and we will definitely be back!Thank you!!

Location was excellent! New addition to deck and ladder were great. Cottage & decks were not very clean! Tea towels were all stained and should be replaced, stove top not clean. Upstairs tub was very slippery (our 56 lb. 8 yr old granddaughter slipped and put her elbow thru one edge of the tub); the ensuite shower was slippery as well! There should have been tub mats! Future guests be sure to check the availability of damage insurance…it wasn't evident to us and we ended paying for an entire new tub & surround!! Extra insurance wasn’t expensive which we found out after the fact!

Unbelievably great. So much to do! The kitchen had everything and more. The kids were thrilled with the lake Would have loved to know about all the stairs as I have a disability Would love to stay there again
