This is a beautiful lakefront property w/ 1500 feet of shoreline full of beautiful acreage, woods, & BREATHTAKING views! It is accompanied by a pool, dock, beach, sand volleyball, a boat ramp, kayaks, & all included!
Have boats or watercraft of your own? Bring them! We have a boat ramp right onsite & plenty of room for your trailers, as well as docking. Play volleyball, corn hole, Beersbie, ladder golf, giant Jenga or just play in the cleanest, coolest water on the lake. The water comes right out of the mountains & dumps right at our feet. Great fishing as well in season. We are actually in one of the best areas to fish. Eat s'mores by the campfire at the beach & watch AMAZING sunsets!
Close to Pirate's Bay (water park), endless waterfalls & hiking trails ,Orbitz Glassblowing, snow skiing, horseback riding, rappelling, caving & ziplining. We are 1:30HR +/- from ATL, B'HAM, & CHATT Airports.
The views are incredible & the house has 1870 charm mixed w/ 21st century décor & conveniences. Breathtaking views of the lake & lawns & you can even see how the sunset pours colors into the house at "golden hour". We also have LOTS of stars, it just gets better & better!

This is not "3 houses near each other to be able to sleep everyone". It is one large main house, an apartment over the garage (The Den), & a guesthouse (The Rose Cottage). They are combined to sleep 58+ guests. Hard-to-find, especially right on the water. Main house has 5 Bedrooms which includes the upstairs sleeping porch, 5 full baths & one 1/2 bath. The Den has 1 bedroom & a full bath. The Rose Cottage has 4 bedrooms+loft & 3 full baths, separate kitchen & laundry room.

**We do allow pets; however, there are requirements that must be met & a pet fee MUST be paid. Please discuss with us before booking.
**The water recreation is a good walk but is accessible by vehicle. We have 5 acres and you can drive right to the dock if desired. Too much to describe, so please see pictures
**The pool is open from all year and can be heated in the fall, winter, spring at an additional cost.

*CLEANING FEE DISCLAIMER: We are disenchanted that we have a pass-through cleaning fee so high these days but, this is our new reality. We understand that when this fee is split by the large groups that is nominal per-person but we want you to know our hearts are that we wish it wasn’t so high regardless of that. It is a very large property to turn over in such a short amount of time & weekend help is extremely hard to find. We only have 1780 people that live here so we have to be the highest paid to retain the best & they are AWESOME! Conversely, we are pleased to remind you that we have so much included w/ this property (ask us for our items stocked list. Seriously, we provide SO much) You don’t need to bring trash bags or paper goods. We stock enough for your entire stay, not just a starter amount. Bathroom & facial tissues, paper towels, trash bags, napkins, salt & pepper shakers, DW detergent, laundry detergent, aluminum foil, zip lock bags, plastic Saran-type wrap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bar soap, Q-tips, cotton balls, hand soap, kitchen sponges, first aid kits, & Dawn dish soap. We have hospitality boxes w/ all sorts of things guests may forget. Our guests have told us in reviews that all they need to bring is food & clothes. One last thing on cleaning: If you are going to check out on a weekday, please inquire if there will be a break in this fee. I don't even know where to start with Magnolia Overlook. I drove to Cedar Bluff on a whim looking for a wedding venue in January of 2025 and the second I stepped on property, I knew this was the only place I could see myself getting married. My dream was to have a place where our families could stay together on the property and celebrate for more than just one night and this place was PERFECT.Fast forward ten months to wedding weekend, and being a guest was a completely different experience. Everything you could imagine is taken care of for you. Destinie is the most attentive hostess. We needed a notary, she had one. We needed an extension cord, she had one. The day of the wedding, she was a well oiled machine. She was on top of EVERYTHING. She literally made the process so seamless. She came up to me and my husband (heart eyes) and asked us what drinks we wanted, what kind of pizza we wanted, what salad dressing we wanted, etc. Every single person asked me, "where on earth did you find this place?" because it is truly a magical place. Not only is the property beautifully maintained, but you cannot beat the view of the lake during sunset. Magnolia Overlook made our wedding weekend greater than anything we ever could have asked for.

So beyond happy we chose the Magnolia Overlook to host our wedding. We stayed Thursday-Sunday so we could spend time with our family and friends. Everyone was raving about how absolutely beautiful and comfortable their stay was. The grounds are breathtaking. It seems the owners have thought of everything you could possibly need. As for the wedding, Destinie is a rockstar!!! Working with her for the wedding was so seamless and easy. From creating a plan, going over all the specifics I didn’t even think of, last minute changes she gracefully accommodated, helping with tasks we were running behind on, making sure my husband and I had fresh drinks, to the very end of the night… the list goes on, and I cannot say enough positive things. It is evident she truly cares about the experience of the couple and guests. Everyone made comments about hospitable and great she was - couldn’t agree more! Our bartender, Haley, was also phenomenal! Everyone was so sad when the weekend came to an end. If you’re considering hosting an event here, make the decision! I would do it again in a heartbeat. Thank you to the whole Magnolia Overlook team for such an unforgettable experience!

We absolutely loved this property. It was everything we were looking for and more. We’ve stayed at many vacation rentals and this blew every single one of them out of the water. We had everything we needed and the property was very clean and well kept. The hosts were super responsive and amazing! Our whole family loved it and have already talked about going back soon!

We from Redemption Hill Church, brought our youth group to stay at Magnolia Overlook for camp! It had everything we needed, and the property owners are amazing! It was a great week.
