About this cottage rental
Chez Polythe is a gîte converted into the former barn of the owner's grandparents, Joséphine and Hippolyte.
Restored using local materials, the house offers a spacious and welcoming atmosphere. One of the two bay windows offers a clear view of the Mézenc and Gerbier de Jonc mountains.
Nearby: an inn in the village, leisure centers in Lavalette (28 km) and Devesset (30 km), a greenway 6 km away, and Dunières (rail bike and tourist train) 14 km away. Small shops in Riotord (6 km), all shops and services in Montfaucon-en-Velay (18 km). Gourmet restaurants in St-Bonnet-le-Froid (15 km). On the ground floor of the house, you will find the kitchen at the entrance, opening onto a beautiful 40m² living room with a lounge and dining room (TV, fireplace). Available: 2 bedrooms (1 queen-size bed, 1 double bed), shower room, toilet.
Taking this large staircase, you arrive on a walkway leading to an attic bedroom (3 single beds) and another attic bedroom (1 double bed), a bathroom with a bathtub, and a separate toilet.
300 m² of grassy grounds, parking adjacent to the cottage, play area with swings, slide, ladders, and rings.
Baby equipment: travel cot, high chair, bathtub.
Optional services to be paid on site:
- Housekeeping service: €60 (an equivalent deposit will be required)
- Bed linen rental: €8/double bed, €6/single bed
- Towel rental: €6/person
- A crate of wood is provided for the stove, after which it's an additional €8/crate.
