This property is stunning but rooms in the main building are up a steep flight of stone steps. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues and worth checking where your room would be as the lower buildings are much easier. Staff take luggage up for you.

The property was a bit rundown and not quite what we expected, but it was okay for a simple place to sleep. We wouldn’t spend too much time in the room itself. The highlight was the friendly staff and the very helpful hotel taxi driver who was always available for pickups and drops to stations and convenience stores. The view of Mt. Fuji was stunning, and with better maintenance this place could easily be a great spot. Overall, a decent stay for a night or two.
