The cabin has tons of things to do, including an outdoor firepit, treehouse, hot tub, baby grand piano, and more. Unwind in the game room with a pool table, air hockey, 30+ board games, and an Xbox One.

Located on a private lane just minutes from the slopes, the cabin sleeps up to 12, and is jam-packed with amenities. Soak it up in our BRAND NEW hot tub, relax around our 20-person fire pit and wood-burning fireplace (wood included), and get cozy with our newly refreshed decor (linens, furniture, paint, etc.) which were updated in Fall 2020. During your stay take advantage of our massive game room that features a pool table, 70” TV with movie theater-style surround sound, an air hockey table, baby grand piano, and full cocktail bar.

Stanley’s Mountain Getaway is named after our 4-year-old Sheepadoodle! The 12-acre property has plenty of room for your furry friends to run and play and even has a .75 mile private trail into the forest. Save space while packing; we’ve got a pet bed, bowls, toys, and treats for your stay.
For our guests without dogs, don’t worry! We take extra care to make sure all of our guests are as happy here as our four-legged friends!
Surrounding Area:
Just 2.5 hours from NYC and 3 hours from Boston, the cabin is a 3-minute drive from downtown Windham, NY where you can enjoy great bars and restaurants in “The Gem of the Catskills”. Our personal favorite is Millrock for their fresh-caught fish and brick oven pizzas!
The property is located right in the middle of the Catskills where you can enjoy hiking, skiing, mountain biking, fishing, ATVing, archery, snowshoeing, and a host of other outdoor activities.
If skiing or snowboarding is your thing, we’re less than 20 minutes from two great ski resorts (Windham & Hunter) and 45 minutes from Belleayre.
All guests who book will be emailed our complimentary guide to the area including restaurants, bars, hikes, and other things to do.
We live here in the off-season, and store our personal belongings in the space above the garage, hence the locked door. Don't worry you're not missing out on our hoards of family photos :)
Guests will be able to check themselves in with a wifi-enabled keypad, the code is changed after each stay!
We are situated on a private lane with 2 other homes, we rarely see our neighbors beyond driving in. We are located through the log arch at the end of the long driveway.
We are located on a private lane, and 3 min from Downtown Windham. There's no public transportation or Uber within the city, we will provide you with the local Taxi number when you arrive. Also, there is ample parking in the driveway.

Great stay at a lovely, well-maintained property. Waze takes you to the wrong place - use Google maps. Excellent communication by host. Spacious property and home. Immaculately clean. Has scent diffusers throughout (if someone is sensitive to fragrances). Enjoyed the live plants and excellent water pressure in the showers.

The stay at your beautiful cabin should be on everyone's bucket list to do! We've stayed at many cabins over the years and this one by far has been the best yet!!!
This awesome house built from top to bottom with wooden logs has so much detail, it's just amazing to study and enjoy as it's so unique! It felt welcoming from the minute we walked in!
Everything is well kept, organized, and clean. We cooked many meals in the large kitchen with double oven and used the grill as well, and nothing was missing from those kitchen cabinets!
The huge family room held our extended family of 13 with room to spare! The beautiful wood burning fireplace kept it cozy and warm. The high ceilings made it feel so roomy and awesome to enjoy.
The table was long enough all 12 could sit at the table for meals. The extra game table was great as we left the playmobile etc. set up the whole time there.
The hot tub was so new and beautiful it also had so many cool light features. The fact that its steps from the bar made it really convenient as well! She also left us beach towels which was great.
The huge garage fit all four of our cars which was so convenient for unpacking as it was pouring rain when we got there.
It is perfect for all ages as we had our grandchildren there and they enjoyed the seesaw and the darling treehouse. The adults enjoyed the gorgeous outdoor fire pit. Such a private setting you can see any neighbor from the property it feels like your own oasis!
The host Kyra was so accommodating and was even able to make a date switch at no extra fee when we had something come up in the family. She was a pleasure to work with. We will be back and for longer next time!

We had a ladies weekend at this incredible mountain home!!! Impeccably clean, spacious and every attention to detail was spot on!! From the start of our booking process we were met with professional and immediate responses to our questions. We will definitely be back again and again and again…….
