Casinha da Encosta

Da casa no seu todo. Dá para cozinhar, tem uma mini sala, boa casa de banho e quarto grande com outra mini sala. Excelente para passar uns dias na zona. Os donos também foram muito simpáticos e facilitaram o check in.

Muito calor e por isso custou mais subir as escadas até a casa. Há estacionamento perto mas é pago.

Pet-friendly. It is a cute tiny house with a nice view. There is a fenced outdoor area, but no grass. Check-in was easy because the host left the key in the door. We thought the dining and living space was good for two people but definitely not 4. It has a well-equipped kitchen. It was mostly clean, though the freezer and oven could have used a bit more attention.

We asked if there was free parking, and the owner said yes. However, since we don't speak Portuguese, we may have misunderstood. We ended up parking on the hill, which required a long walk down and many stairs. There is cash-only paid parking on the main street below. This involves an uphill walk, but it seems easier than the hill path we took. Considering what the town offered, we were surprised that they were charging for parking everywhere. Having the bedroom on the second floor and the bathroom on the first was a bit inconvenient at night. Despite being on top of a hill, we could still hear traffic and barking dogs inside. It wasn't quite as quiet as expected, and the bed was a bit small and uncomfortable.

Tudo impecável e bem cuidado.

O descritivo da casa não menciona em nenhum logar a escadaria de 84 degraus que se tem de subir para aceder. A chave na porta não me parece a forma mais adequada de fazer check in sobretudo por questões de segurança. Só recebi um vídeo do anditrião quando disse que ia passar na casa previamente para ver localização e acessos. Antes a escadaria foi sempre omissa.
