Fantastic stay, beautiful house in excellent location

Beautiful house, nicely furnished and decorated in an excellent location. Lots of special attention to detail starting with water in the fridge and welcome basket. Very attentive staff checking if everything is ok. The location is fantastic.

Incredible location with highly responsive hosts.

Absolutely gorgeous home right in the middle of the highest-end neighborhood in Chicago. The interior space in the house is more than ample with 4900+ sqft of living space, so it’s perfect for groups of 8-10 people max (if allowed). Will definitely be staying again!

The beds are a little too squishy, perfect for side/ stomach sleepers, but not ideally supportive for those who are pure back sleepers (aka me). Everything else was more than perfect!

Disappointing.

First of all, I am a licensed real estate broker who understands that location and presentation is the backbone of our industry. The photo of the property shows more of the neighboring townhomes than the actual door of the property. When our cab driver unloaded our luggage at the steps, he commented that this place is dirty and looks abandoned. Approaching the property, the steps were crumbling and unsightly. 1)Entrance - Door trim gouged out where someone had to break in - which gave us the feeling of being insecure. These items should have been replaced prior to allowing someone in the unit. Downstairs in half basement is musty from what appears to be mold on the wall, and water stains on the ceiling. The odor flows throughout the unit. The odors were not masked by plug-in. 2) Over all uncleanliness of the unit. Including urine stains and odor reeks around and in front of toilet stool. I had to clean refrigerator before we could put our water bottles in it. Kitchen overall needed cleaning. Rugs needed cleaning, upholstery needs shampooing. Shutters in living room were dirty, dusty full of finger prints. . Fireplace in TV room has creosote (smut) on tile surface, lots of finger prints, and also tape stuck to it. All floors needed to be mopped and definitely dusted if nothing else. 3) Only one TV for over 3000 SFR, which if children were present, which they weren’t, would want to watch cartoons all day, adults would have no choice but to watch too. In other words there should be more than one TV. 4) Instructions should be left on how to work the TV heat/AC, and smart shower in main bath upstairs. You have to stand in the shower to turn it on, so you either get scolded, or drenched from shower head above. I believe the descript of the place said city view - front view, nice, back view homelessness folks and garbage cans. Lastly no ADA available, no grab bars, steps to deep top, and did not advertise three flights of stairs to bedrooms. Good potential

La impresión de la primera vista al entrar por la puerta de entrada, fue, Woww Woww, simplemente hermoso. Hicimos un recorrido antes de instalarnos y nos sorprendimos, cuenta con todo lo que ocupábamos para quedarnos, las habitaciones bien cómodas, cuenta con camas plegables en cada habitación, hay 1 cuna de bebe, lavandería completa, secadora de pelo, los baños tiene todo, jabón, shampoo, acondicionador Una cocina hermosa, me sentí en mi cocina, cuando abrí los gabinetes, también cuenta con todo, artículos de cocina, ingredientes, sal, azúcar, café, así que no se preocupe en salir a comprar para cocinar, lo único que si se compraría, solamente lo que va en la refrigeradora, todo lo demás ya está ahí. Nos sorprendimos al ver una carriola de nińo, la pasamos súper con ella, la usamos con la bebé, sin cansarnos ya que caminamos de un lado a otro, cuenta con sombrillas Todo cómodo, todo preparado, pensado en la familia También tiene todo para ir a la playa Una sala de estudio, para trabajar o leer, con una vista increíble Una sala de estar Tiene una barra, que conecta con la cocina, comedor y hacía la sala de estar En resumen, lo tiene todo, la recomiendo para que pases unas vacaciones inolvidables con la familia y amigos

En la lavandería, la secadora no seca la ropa en el tiempo programado El aire no enfría, se estaciona en 74, aún programándola, pero es información que se nos dio al inicio, las habilitaciones cuenta con los ventilador, pero en mi caso, soy alérgica y no puede haber un ventilador cerca de mi trabajando El patio que queda a orillas de la calle, no la limpiaron y se mantuvo sucia durante nuestra estancia, aunque no la usamos, no nos afectó
