Nice comfortable, slightly quirky studio bedsit.

The owner was very professional & courteous, with plenty of information about accessing the property, including photos. Also, good communication. As described, it was a quiet location, a comfortable bed, and free parking wasn't too hard to find. They supplied an extra heater, which was very useful as their was no control over the radiators in this accommodation. Tv, bedside light, comfy reclining chair, all helped make it cosy. I enjoyed my stay here.

The light swithches are in a very odd position. As you walk in the room, at night, you have to cross to the other side to access them. The light outside the door didn't appear to work, unless I didn't find the switch, but as it's quite dark & it's a rear access property, it should come on automatically on a sensor. ( I think someone who might be nervous or possibly a female booking this property might prefer it to be well lit going down the steps and by the door). The toaster was placed in a cupboard & looked like it was broken, and as their was just a kettle & microwave, that would have been useful.

What a pleasant surprise, check in straight forward. Amenities were good the bed so comfortable a perfect little retreat. Definitely recommended

Breakfast not applicable. For me the location was OK but I don't think it would suit everyone. Room was extremely hot but manageable

No lighting for the stairs that led down to the apartment. In the current weather conditions this could have been extremely dangerous as they are reasonablly steep and quite a few of them. I arrived late at night and was surprised to find the door to the apartment to be unlocked. Light switch for the apartment needs to be relocated. It is at the other end of the room meaning you have to hunt for it. I respected the owners privacy and was quiet to ensure their privacy. Shame it didn't work both ways. I was disturbed both at night and in the morning by someone stomping across the room above me. I sent two emails to the owner asking him to send me emails with regard to any correspondence as my colleague had booked the room on my behalf. He obviously didn't read them properly as I never once recieved any correspondence to my email address. p.s. My name is not Jason (this is my colleagues name who booked on my behalf)

good location a few minutes walk to the bus stop into the city centre, regular buses. supermarket and shops on the main road. I liked that it was self check in.

the mattress was very soft, ok for one person but if 2 people are staying u sink into the middle and is uncomfortable. bed is very creaky too. people above are abit noisy in the evening , heavy foot steps and a lot of scraping. but it’s not unbearable

Couple weekend away

Great little hideaway, had everything we needed with free parking.. Only a short 20mins walk to the main city centre. Didn't use the car all weekend, walked everywhere. Perfect location for exploring Nottingham. We will.be back.

The property was perfectly self-contained, (fridge, microwave, en-suite, crockery, cutlery and food for breakfast, kettle, TV, dining table, workspace, etc, etc) - a very well thought out space. The bed was particularly comfortable! I also really appreciated that it has a private access with a key-box for the door key, so my unsociably late arrival time was not a problem. It’s also remarkably good value.

Waiting for the shower to warm up. Noise from upstairs. Bed very uncomfortable. Might be worth getting a new one. The parking was very misleading. You must park on the street. The add says free parking suggesting that there is a drive or some sort. Sink not fit for washing dishes. Or even to fill the kettle. Hidden charges for drinks that are in the fridge.

A personal welcome from the owner set the scene for a very hospitable visit. The apartment is ideal for a short stay for a single or couple. It's well equipped with a separate en-suite. There's a large supermarket within 5 minutes walk, and it's around a 20-minute walk from the city centre. On-street parking is free and wasn't busy during my weekend stay.

Access to the property is via a fairly steep set of steps down a grass bank; there is no handrail. This was fine for me but would not suit anyone who is physically infirm.

literally nothing

noise from upstairs till late. felt uncomfortable and unwelcome from the beginning and was being watched in the garden from the owner of the property/ family when I went for cigarettes or to my car. i was greeted with a strong knock half an hour before checkout on a door that was constantly monitored linking the house to the basement (where the room is) the key was put in the lock half way thru the night and when I heard the noise someone was pretending not to be on the other end of the door. very concerning and overall uncomfortable stay. the noise and talking from upstairs is ridiculous. 0 privacy whatsoever and was unable to have a shower the entire stay as they turned the hot water off/ shower didn’t heat at all. terrible. just avoid this place at all costs. i considered sleeping in my car the noise got that bad past 11pm. i even took videos for reference of how noisy it actually was
