Welcome to The Solterra, a peaceful Wine Country retreat with beautiful views toward Annadel State Park and Kenwood. Located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, this welcoming home is perfect for families and groups. Enjoy five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen with Wolf appliances, and a cozy family room with Roku, Netflix, and Prime Video. Filled with unique souvenirs from travels to over 80 countries, The Solterra offers comfort, character, and a relaxing Sonoma getaway.
The Space:
Designed for comfort and easy living, the home is thoughtfully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Unique souvenirs collected from travels to more than 80 countries add character and a personal touch throughout the space.
The family room is a welcoming place to gather, with large windows showcasing beautiful hillside views. Settle in and enjoy your favorite shows on the TV with Roku, Netflix, and Amazon Prime.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals for the whole group, including a 5-burner Wolf range with dedicated simmer rings on every burner, a double convection oven, a fully automatic espresso and cappuccino machine, and a motion-sensor faucet. The kitchen also features a batch-feed garbage disposal that operates only when the magnetic stopper is in place for added safety.
With five bedrooms and three bathrooms, the home is well-suited for larger groups and extended families. Three bedrooms feature queen beds,
while the remaining two bedrooms each offer a twin bed, providing comfortable accommodations for everyone.
The large back deck is perfect for outdoor dining, grilling on the natural gas BBQ, or simply relaxing with a glass of wine while taking in the surrounding hill views.
Additional amenities include an Xbox 360, Pac-Man arcade machine, a large collection of children's books, board games, and toys. Outside, you'll find a spacious backyard with room to play, a jungle gym, a small roller coaster for kids, a hammock, and a swing. Children should be supervised at all times while enjoying these outdoor features.
Guests who need to stay connected will appreciate the reliable high-speed internet and dedicated office space with a monitor and printer.
The home is equipped with two Tesla Powerwalls, providing backup power during outages. Guests with electric vehicles can take advantage of complimentary EV charging using the J1772 charging cord located near the garage, compatible with most electric vehicles.
For added peace of mind, a landline phone is also available for emergency use.

Our favorite winery is En Garde Winery — just 15 minutes down Highway 12 and rated 96 points from Robert Parker.
Other favorites in the Sonoma Valley are St Anne's and Arrowood.
For a restaurant, you can't go wrong with Ca'bianca, beautiful outdoor Italian dining in a picturesque garden belonging to an 1800s house right downtown. Very delicious.
For the best coffee and yummy pastries, head to Acre Coffee in Montgomery Village (or their Sebastopol or Petaluma locations). Their mocha is one of our not so guilty pleasures!
Getting Around:
A grocery store and good restaurants are just a short pleasant walk away! The nearest winery is only 10-minute drive away. A quick drive to the heart of Santa Rosa and all of it’s bars, restaurants, and entertainment, all this while being under an hour from the ocean.

Well-behaved pets are allowed with a $500 deposit (paid upfront)

We were in town for a family wedding and had lots of space to get ready, to hang out together and to be in proximity of wedding venue. We did not have children with us, but well equipped. Lovely back yard and deck. Kitchen has everything you need if you wanted to cook. We will be back for the next family event.

Absolutely wonderful property. Very spacious and lots of seating everywhere. If you have kids this is a must they will be entertained throughout. My kids loved the backyard with the playground. Property was spotless upon arrival. Fully equipped kitchen. Very quiet neighborhood. Grocery and some restaurants nearby 3 minute drive. Also is on the 12 freeway which has a ton of wineries and leads direct to Sonoma valley. Host was also very quick to respond and knew every in and out of the house.

We rented the home for our family as we were hosting a memorial golf tournament close by. The house was lovely with a beautiful view. The coffee maker didn't seem to work but not that big of a deal. It was made clear there were not to be any parties and we complied. However my 5 year old grandson and his friend were playing Hide and Seek around 8:00. An adult was supervising. Out of no where a neighbor started shouting "Shut the F Up" over and over. They came in the house very upset. It was so loud I heard it in the house. So I guess I would recommend the house if you never went outside to do anything. It also looked like there were mouse droppings in a drawer in the kitchen with the potholders.
