Our stay in this beautiful, remote mountain village was one of the most genuine and heartwarming experiences we've ever had. The hospitality of the Čomor family was beyond anything we expected, they welcomed us like old friends. We were treated to delicious homemade food, including fresh pita, hearty soup, creamy yogurt, and refreshing elderflower drinks made from flowers picked in their own garden.
Their granddaughter was the sweetest little guide, showing us around the village with such pride and kindness. The peaceful surroundings, the warmth of the people, and the authentic local experience made us wish we could have stayed much longer.
If you're looking for something truly special, off the beaten path, and full of heart then this is the place. We’ll always carry this memory with us.
Just a tiny detail - the room at the top floor was a bit warm during the night (expected in mid July). We managed to get some air flowing by leaving our door open.

Enjoyed my stay at this accommodation in Lukomir.
It was a little challenging to find but after 5-10 minutes of wandering around aimlessly in the dark I was able to locate it.
The owner was friendly and we were able to communicate via Google Translate. I arrived just after dinner time and although the full menu wasn’t available he did offer to cook me up a snack when I arrived. This place felt less like a hotel and more like I was staying in somebody else’s home, especially at meal times.
My room was around the side of the house, the owner showed me where it was and gave me the key. I think it may have been a converted store house but it was a lot more modern than I expected. It was very clean and comfortable. The shower worked perfectly and the Wi-Fi worked great - in fact it was faster than some of the other places I’d stayed.
I got a good nights sleep and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning which was fresh and plentiful. Staying the night in Lukomir turned out to be a great idea and I thoroughly enjoyed the village life whilst there.

The hosts are incredibly nice and they make you feel at home. The food was amazing and we enjoyed all sorts of tea from hand picked herbs. This is a place to go if you want to enjoy mountain life and being away from the crowds.
