Old Oak Barn - Beautiful barn conversion with wonderful Jacuzzi hot tub

Very spacious and well laid out. All of tge rooms were lovely. Hot tub made it even more special. Marcus was very communicative beyond the call of duty!

It is a beautiful Barn and the location was very peaceful, it was great to be able to sit quietly with my morning coffee & watch some deer grazing in the field opposite. The space worked very well for us as a 3 generation family group. Directions and communication from Marcus prior to arrival were great. Plenty of towels & slippers were provided if you wanted to use the hottub and a full basket of logs & kindling for the fire were great too, not that we needed them as despite the weather we were warm enough with the underfloor heating. Bed linen were of a good quality which is always a bonus

Cleanliness could be better, it was ok on a surface level but some of the kitchen utensils/pans needed a clean before we could use them, when we moved side tables etc in the lounge area they hadn't been cleaned underneath. Games room hadn't been swept. Some of the mattresses could probably do with replacing, our neice was in the first of the two bedrooms together upstairs & the mattresses in her bed were at different heights, one side felt like the springs had gone. The kitchen could do with some larger saucepans for cooking.

Good contact prior to checking in with all relevant instructions. House was in lovely condition with all amenities. The house easily caters for 10 adults with plenty of space. The hot tub and pool table is an added bonus and thoroughly enjoyed with plenty of time spent using both.

Not sure we didn't like anything! House is located in the middle of a rural area so not much locally but this is why we liked and chose this place. There is plenty to do within a short car journey or just enjoy a walk across the local fields!
